    Amazing drummer for long years worked with a lot of big names such as Sting, Dire Straits, David Bowie, Weather Report, Madonna and many others. Currently is percussion director in Berklee college in Boston.

    It’s amazing how Sting’s manager was looking for Omar while they were both on that island!! It was definitely meant to be!!

    I truely believe that sting put together the greatest band of session musicians together of all time...not only that he couldn't bully them because they were all one notch above him... god bless the late Kenny Kirkland.. ohmar theres a place waiting for you in another band and that's wait for it "RUSH" only you can fill those shoes

    Why did Omar stop playing for Sting after one album?

    • @Djtasic
      @Djtasic  Рік тому +1

      I remember reading it was over money and disputes with Sting's manager at the time, Miles Copeland.
