    4:25 This is Barriss Offee.
Ahsoka's best friend (they treated each other like sisters).
I wouldn't call her Nemesis because in the book, Ahsoka literally showed that she understands Barriss, suggesting that she has even forgiven her.
As for the backstory, in short:
Barriss's master was Luminara Unduli - a very extremist Jedi who prioritized the Republic's victory over helping those in need.
Luminara taught her that if she sees evil, she must fight it at any cost. Barriss herself is selfless and was even willing to sacrifice her own life for others.
The combination of these two traits and the fact that she was forced to fight on the front lines (potential trauma) led her to one conclusion: the Jedi are evil.
Honestly, she was right because at that time, the Jedi were a band of war criminals rather than peacekeepers.
However, here's the most important point: she Can't let go and is ready to sacrifice everything. Due to this, her morality is noble but also naive. She simply couldn't just leave the Order; she had to fight with that evil, and because she was taught this and she most often saw violence, she chose the most destructive path: Bomb.
(Even during her speech, Barriss said "We fell" - she also referred to herself as a product of Jedii downfall).
She hoped that a direct attack on the Jedi would trigger an impulse that would change something, that the Jedi would return to the right path, and there would be peace. In her conversation with Ahsoka, it's evident that she questions what she did and even feels ashamed of it, but she's also disappointed that nothing has changed - just as I mentioned, it's noble but very naive logic.
Unfortunately, she didn't stop there. She framed Ahsoka for all of this to give the final test and show the true face of the Jedi Council, who abandoned her to die without an investigation. (Plus, after analysis, it's easy to say that it wasn't a plan but rather improvisation and a giant desire to prove a point).
Barriss most likely regretted hurting Ahsoka, which was evident from her facial expressions; it's even possible that she planned to save Ahsoka, but that's speculation.
What we see in the trailer is her ultimate test and her last hope.
Barriss said: "The Jedi have become an army fighting for the dark side" - the Inquisition is exactly that army, and she will be forced to follow those who truly fell. She will be forced to kill and take lives, which is something that is completely opposite to her morality.
Here, the fight will be for the last thing this character have - and that is exactly her morality and her desire to be good.
What Barriss has to do is learn to let go, not to fight evil at any cost or be part of it. She must betray the Empire and leave, otherwise she will die.
