I struggle with alcoholic induced bipolar disorder. My moral compass was cracked. I did a lot of things to people that sometimes keep me up at night. I would have thoughts similar to yours, walking and talking like I was a God, like everyone wanted me. It’s embarrassing, but coming out of it and seeing the light is such a beautiful thing. I’m not healed from what I’ve done, there are years of damage and many victims, but I push forward everyday and have been working on my moral compass daily. It’s like one foot in front of the other.

Hiya, Wayne! 🙂How have you been? I'm good - got my 3 year coin last month! I had to stop this video when that warning popped up - I appreciate having warnings! As far as morality goes with me, I have found it easier to follow because I do unto others as I would have them do unto myself. I don't want or expect much, but the things I do want are very simple: kindness, smiles, and maybe 5 minutes of time to help load up groceries (or somesuch breif thing). Those wants sound small, but they mean so much to me. I have found that doing a mini 4th step every day keeps me on track and honest with myself and others. Journaling works great for this, just asking myself 'how are you doing today?' brings up anything I might need to pay closer attention to. Thanks for another great video!

This is absolutely amazing news. Timberwolf, your progress is motivational and encouraging! I'm doing alright, and today I feel a little guilty because my job has me with a group in Prague, and my wife is at home taking care of her father. I'll be back home tomorrow evening. Your support is appreciated, and I'm grateful you're here. Thank you

im just getting through a relationship, she broke up with me. I am now addicted to alcohol. i drink every night and sometimes during the day. what do I do?

Nick, perhaps she wasn't the one for you.. I promise you that she's not at the bottom of a bottle, and I can also promise you there are zero answers in there either. It took me quite a long time and a ton of consequences to learn that! I can't tell you what to do, but I will recommend calling a sober friend who will come over and help you get rid of all of the alcohol in your house, apartment, car, or wherever your head lies. Next, I would keep in mind that you are who determines your value, not anyone else. One of the hardest things to do is to NOT have the 1st drink! If you haven't hurt anyone, yourself, or ended up in jail or the hospital, then you have a choice today. I know this all seems vague and maybe impossible, but you can get through the heartache, and you can do it without needing to drink over it.
