Quantum Chemistry 11.5 - Walsh Diagrams

Short lecture on Walsh diagrams for non-linear polyatomic orbital energies.
The energy of molecular orbitals varies as the structural parameters of a molecule change. Walsh diagrams plot their energies vs a bond angle. These diagrams can qualitatively explain why water is bent and BeH2 is linear, due to having different numbers of occupied orbitals.
