  • It has been a long road, but we are getting closer to a flying airplane! Our Museum Chief Pilot Mike Spalding is seen here taxiing the A6M3 in Everett, Washington. Work at Legend Flyers is continuing to prepare the airplane for its first flight, which will be the culmination of a restoration that has taken over a decade to complete. #A6M3 #Hamp #Zero #Zeke #MilitaryAviationMuseum #airplane #Warbirds #WWII #Aviation #MilitaryAviation #AvGeek #Museum #ZeroFighter #MitsubishiZero #aircombat #A6MZeroThe

    It's a fresh rebuilt P&W 1830. So a little over powered. : )

I love the sound. Is that an original engine, a reproduction, or something different?

There’s only one airworthy Zero with an original Sakae engine and it belongs to the Planes of Fame museum in California. Most restored Zeros use P&W engines
