I think part of the reason it’s “so good” is because the art style is abstract so your brain is more accepting of glitches / weird stuff and it can just be purer “fun”
bonuses of this games less intensive graphics include: - more clarity - more stylized and unique - more frames - runs on all systems, so your non pc gamer friends can play it with you on their low end PC - devs were more worried about game play than endless expensive fidelity standards
I’ve always played fps games on console and mainly played mmo’s on pc other than CSGO due to hardware issues but I downloaded this game last night and it runs amazingly smooth with a crappy processor! I can’t believe the story behind this game it’s a true masterpiece and the devs deserve every good thing coming to them. This game is timeless and SO FUN TO PLAY!!!!
I've said this about Tears of the Kingdom, but I think this demonstrates it even better. We don't need absolute cutting edge graphics, as long as the gameplay is good. Especially if you give the graphics their own style instead of pushing for photo-realism.
I agree, the graphics and colours are awesome. It feels very comfortable to the eyes and easy to shoot characters. It's so true "If I want real graphics, I'll just go outside."
I dunno if Jack was serious talking about liking this art style better than a realistic one but I totally agree. As a 3D-Artist myself I could never understand the obsession with realism in Games/Animation etc. The true strength of these mediums is to use the artstyle that is most fitting and like BattleBits playstyle is far from realistic it totally makes sense to go with this aesthetic. Aditionally the devs have a way easier time to create more content which is what the players actually want. Ppl need to stop being blinded by "nice" graphics and realize that high fidelity doesn't automatically mean high value...

Never have truer words been spoken
Think it would ever go to console? Wish it would so us console players could get in on the fun.
let me tell yall a secret mechanic about the tank. if you get the tracks just right you can go up any vertical wall as long as its not a destructible one and go as high as u want. i almost made it to the top of the nuclear facility on valley but got shot by an enemy tank while i was half way up
I think part of the reason it’s “so good” is because the art style is abstract so your brain is more accepting of glitches / weird stuff and it can just be purer “fun”
Didn’t enjoy it?
bonuses of this games less intensive graphics include:
- more clarity
- more stylized and unique
- more frames
- runs on all systems, so your non pc gamer friends can play it with you on their low end PC
- devs were more worried about game play than endless expensive fidelity standards
Keep up the good work Jack.
The mounted MGs are incredible, lot of people ignore them
More levolution than BF2042, lol.. ^^
great vids as always thats one of ur best outros ever. what was the song that slapped
Keep bringing us quality content that avoids the company associated with groomers and we will keep watching and supporting your efforts.
My only complaint so far is the scope glare you can see it through most things and it makes no since for it to be so bright miles away
This game needs to come to console!
Imagine this with BF graphics. Great vid Jack, love your work.
WHAT IS THAT OUTRO MUSIC ITS SO GOOD
Lmao I could watch jack and the boys play this game for hours
I cant believe how good this game is.. its just crazy
I've said this about Tears of the Kingdom, but I think this demonstrates it even better. We don't need absolute cutting edge graphics, as long as the gameplay is good. Especially if you give the graphics their own style instead of pushing for photo-realism.
Id rather have worse graphics and a better game 👍
I agree, the graphics and colours are awesome. It feels very comfortable to the eyes and easy to shoot characters. It's so true "If I want real graphics, I'll just go outside."
Indeed it does.
Imagine a Star Wars or even a WH40k mod
Absolutely loving this content! Give the people what they want Jack!
This can easily be a console game
No. It would be ruined
@@houseofchinn6112how so?
People still play on console? 😅
@@houseofchinn6112 how?
@@Pewpewbang762 casuals tryna play like COD. It would need to be at least KBM enabled and what would the 4 devs cap the fps at? Plus would they have to cater to controller players with aim assist and would it have a FOV slider?
Also have you ever played pubg or DayZ or hell let loose on console? The leaning mechanics are awful for those games on controller. Lucky DayZ is KBM enabled so I don't have issues
Plus server size, console only cross play or PC too? Sever size would differ. Tons of reason why it shouldn't be ported
Speaking of leaning.... in other games where there is lean, you can lean back and forth when running to dodge bullets. Best of Luck. :)
