- ’Tis the season for pre-emergent herbicide. It’s one of the easiest and most important preventative lawn product applications for a weed free lawn. The cost of pre-emergents are less than controlling weeds after the fact.

Keep Your Lawn Disease Free this Fall and Winter: golfcourselawn.store/blogs/diy-lawn-care/managing-winter-lawn-diseases-your-guide-to-a-healthy-winter-lawn
I’ve got a real project at my new place. I’ve got a very lumpy yard, that I don’t think has one single blade of real grass. First things first, this winter I will put down sand to start smoothing things out. In the spring, I’ll plug St Augustine.
I’m on a budget, so this is the way I’ll have to get it done. There are stumps, vines, junk shrubs everywhere. Broken pottery, and glass everywhere. Gonna be fun.
It sounds like a serious project. I'd start by cleaning up debris, weeds and going from there.
@@RonHenry sounds like a plan. I have about 10 years landscaping experience, but do not know nearly enough about herbicides. I’ve got a huge ring of cast iron around a tree. I want to spray it, but don’t want to kill the tree.
In lawns, moles feed heavily on soil-dwelling insects, including Japanese beetle grubs. Milky Spore and/or beneficial nematodes can be used to eliminate these pests and will generally decrease tunneling or feeding activity. However, if your soil is healt
Milky Spore and Acelepryn are great for reducing grubs and other lawn damaging insects.
The Lie-monade 😂
It was all i could think of. 😂
“if you get it to perfection and stays perfect then you get bored” ain’t that the truth.
The chase is what makes it fun. 😎
Thanks again for all your content, knowledge and store.
@tovanyfernandez6201 appreciate the support!
I am overseeing my Bermuda this fall in AZ with perennial Rye. Will the nutsedge I’ve been fighting grow in the winter and choke out my rye grass?
Not necessarily. I would try to get rid of the nutsedge though. If you’re already overseeded, go with Sedgehammer. Otherwise, this will make quick work of Nutsedge: golfcourselawn.store/products/certainty-herbicide-1-25-oz-sedge-and-poa-annua-control
Unfortunately couldn’t make it last night , but catching up now . I just saw where you said you put down .10 of Specticle , are you going out again with another .10 this fall? I went with .10 as well here in Texas ( yep I’m
Early ) but I’ve heard to go out again with another .10 in 45 days or so. It’s my 1st time using this , I’ve always used prodiamine .
That sounds right Shauna. Another application at Nov / Dec timeframe.
What spray trip should I use to spray pre-emergent?
Floodjet. Soil tip
