It's gorgeous, Justine 😍 you feature the EH book pages so well and the touches of ✨️✨️ all the lovely tags 😃 your stitching is perfect 👌 love it all 🍁🍁
I just found this video. I absolutely LOVE this journal! Are the Gordon Beningfield images from 1 of his books? If so, can you plz tell me the name of the book? TYFS Cindy
Thank you so much! I adored making this 🤩💖 I believe some of these were from his book called "Beningfield's Woodlands". It's a very large book so I only used a few images but that's where I got the squirrel and blackberry images from. I also used his book called "Poems of the Seasons" (I think it's called that) which is smaller and works so well for projects all year round 😊💖
Thank you so much! I loved working on these pages 🤩 Oh yes, I knew I was forgetting something... it's 7x6.5 inches which is not too bad given the random envelope base 😅🍂🍁
Hi Justine, I was wondering if there is a video showing how you put the envelopes together for this journal.... or ... maybe it's like another one you have which you shared with us. I have been collecting different size envelopes hoping to make a journal out of them ... but still haven't done it. I should look through your playlists myself, but if you can point me in the right direction, it would save me time. We all like to save time, right? LOL LOVE, JJ
Hehe, of course I don't mind you asking... sometimes it makes sense because I know my videos like the back of my hand lol 😅 I don't think I showed the construction of this one. I definitely showed making the cover, but I think I'd already chosen the envelopes by that point, so it was just a decorating video: ua-cam.com/video/NMQab6Zbq58/v-deo.html I was originally inspired by Tatty Treasure who did most of hers on video, though. Here's part 1 where she showed the envelope part: ua-cam.com/video/66haNHrF24M/v-deo.html 😊 Have fun with yours! I loved this project xoxo
@@houseofmahalo - thanks. I was thinking of the one you did 7-8 months ago. I think it was called Amazon Packaging, Flip Folio Journal. If you have time to answer this - what would you say are the main differences between the Amazon flip journal and this envelope journal? I'm trying to decide which one I want to try. 😘😁
@@JeanneJordanexteach Oh yeah, you mean this one: ua-cam.com/video/NaDG9AC5Emo/v-deo.htmlsi=UZ6lpenyRMhmX85_ 😊 I think the main difference is that the junk mail envelope one is like a normal journal (with a signature sewn in), but the envelopes are instead of pages. If that makes sense. Whereas the Amazon packaging folio is more like the envelopes being flip-outs and pockets rather than pages. Plus the notebook is removable rather than sewn in 😊 I hope that helps! They're both fun projects really so I don't think you can go wrong with either. I will say the Amazon folio was a bit quicker because there was less to decorate but there's not that much in it really 😊💖 xoxo
@@houseofmahalo - Yes, that is what I was thinking but wanted to make sure I understood. The Junk Mail one is a lot larger and would definitely take more time than the Amazon envelope flip. I have only made one flip journal - with Tabs. I liked it because it was different and not so time consuming. Thanks, Justine. 😁❤
Aww thank you so much Ginny! 😘 I have a die that makes hole reinforcers. It came with a whale tail die on eBay. But for this one, I just used a bog-standard hole punch and guessed where the middle(ish) of the tag was. Is that what you meant? 😊💖
Beautiful journal Justine. Did you find it hard to go back to and old project? I have three unfinished journals but struggling to fall back in love with them. Do you get what I mean?
Thank you Phyllis! 💖💖 And I know exactly what you mean. I found it hard to get myself motivated enough to work on it (I'm always most inspired at the very beginning of a project so I kept putting it off). But once I sat down and forced myself to do something with it, it came together very quickly. I made a list of every little step I needed to make to finish it - even ink & stencil pages was a task. I think that helped to just get me going kinda thing 😊🍁🍂
That is just lovely! It makes me want to go for a walk in the woods.
Thank you Peggy!! I love a woodland walk - especially at this time of year 😀🍁🍂
This journal is perfection! I wouldn't change a thing, wow!

Justine you are fab! Such talent. Can you tell me where you get the die that does your tag holes? Do you cut them in brown card? Thanks so much x
