Hey Derek, i have been following you for a while and love your effort and mindset. I just want to contribute to you. If it works for you, you take it and i would be so happy. I came across one of your evogen videos. Hany was saying that Derek has issues with supernating his wrist while doing the curls. I was having the same problem. I discover that it is related with the back and the shoulders not only the arms itselves. While doing the curls: 1. Arch your back, chest up and front 2. Shoulders back then bring your arms a little forward. 3. Push your elbow towards your body(lats, ribcage) with the arm that is curling the weight 4. Lean a little towards the curling side. I mean if you lifting with the left arm lean a little bit to the left and do not forget to push your elbow to the body. I hope it helps for better bicep peaks. It really worked for me. Let me know what do you think. It's a great day to get better!
Derek, do you change / adjust the weight each set to stay in your target repetition range of 8-12 reps in order to avoid going beyond or under that target repetition number? Thanks champ!
@@balla2828 doing twice the Volume for my side delts than i do for front. I mean the side delts are bigger and Front gets worked indirectly with every pressing movement.
I never count sets on each exercise many years now...i only count how much weight i can lift in each exercise with how many reps ive done with this weight ...for me its the same for each exercise....and i never go never below 5 reps....and when i finish the exercise instantly i iift the half weight with the double reps like a drop set...i rest a little and then i go to the next exercise Thats for me works perfect many years now and i will never change it ....and of course no ego lifting with perfect form always ! Thats why i have zero injuries 17 years now ...for me this is bodybuilding ....and year by year comes also the strength.....

There are so many people seelling their misery on youtube and You are worry about this? If when you say drugs you mean steroids, think that maybe he shows his workouts to people that use too. And maybe maybe maybe, people like me that dont use steroids, see on him some kind of inspiration. Because besides drugs, you need hard work, and hours and hours of training, discipline, constance and good humor. I dont know you, but I prefer to see Derek doing exercises than nicocado avocados crying.
@@johnnyjanny496 thanks for the advice. It's interesting, because for me, being natural, it's safer to train than a non natural because my ligaments grow proporcionaly to my muscles. I'm 5'5" and 185lb and You can see in my channel my proces of volume. I hope to reach 200lb to do the cut proces, completely natural. Only with protein and creatin suplements.
