    I remember reading an article about NC school. The superintendent was proud that they only hired CODA interpreters. All I could think of was “that’s a great way to get sued” because that’s illegal. They have issues.

    Well, why not hearing parents learn ASL for the deaf child, let see deaf happy, it's worth it but depends the deaf child, it's not easy!!! Either hearing or deaf school, up to them???

    Will parents still be able to get bus transportation from school districts if schools for the deaf become independent?
