I personally think montainous areas should not be counted as uninhabitated or blank, i think mountain ridges and hidrographic basins should make the boarder. Per example fill the islands and split the Pateras mountains between megara and athens drawing a line over the highest line on the ridge AKA without crossing any river, just like the spanish boarder with france or poland-slovakia.
Anyways that's just design, the video on its content is great. There is a saying that goes "if your largest criticism are visuals you have done it greatly"
