A short film by Chris Wood. Shot in a single take. Starring: Grant Gustin, Chris Wood. Two brothers go for a hike in the snow and confront their issues... in a slightly roundabout way.
So no one is gonna talk about how Grant can finally cuss in his acting films? It’s been 9 years watching The Flash and I’ve never seen and heard him cuss😂 hearing him swear makes me laugh and brings up my day.
@@barrylynn596 Still counts bruh cuz Barry was visibly scared, nervous and angry that one of his best friends and teammates made a contingency plan to kill him. He was well within his right to cuss in that moment
so insanely impressive. one continuous take, in 7+ inches of snow, 3 attempts, a crew of 12, & every emotion in the book on display. all with an important message. WOW. loved this so much
Both Grant and Chris did an amazing job in this short film. The scenery in this short film is beautiful and the guys’ acting was top notch. I hope to see more of their acting in the future.
This short film was a roll coaster of emotions, and have a very important message about checking in on the people that you love. Chris and Grant did an incredible job with their performances.
Incredible talent, and all in one shot! So many important messages: from appreciating natural beauty to checking on your loved ones so that you don't find out one day that they're gone. Exemplary cinematography as well 🌨️
the way i had completely forgotten this was one take while i was watching this!! chris, you did an incredible job writing, acting and directing this, and grant was such an amazing partner, you guys just work so well together. i loved this and the message behind it, i cant wait to see more of your works chris, im proud of you!❤️
Greetings from Scotland! So proud that a member of my family had a hand in the production of this awesome piece of film! Proud of you James! This is especially poignant to our late son's memory right now. This makes a very valid, important point! make a call, get in touch, it's only a few minutes out of your day................... It may make a big difference to someone you love!
Okay I loved this! Dark, yet funny. And got across an important message! Props and Love to Chris, Grant, and everyone involved. Also, I enjoyed the ‘fight in the snow’ 😉
I love Grant man wish he can get in more movies like the new flash movie and movies in general dude is whole heartedly Goofy but then again always shows his emotion
what a rollercoaster of emotions!! i can see myself watching this a lot, it had the perfect balance of laughs and sadness and fit so much into a 12 minute film!! truly so amazing and so worth the wait!!
Aww, I loved this so much! ❤️ Two incredible actors taking us on a funny, heartbreaking, wild rollercoaster of emotion, and delivering a powerful message! All in a single take! Excellent work, Chris and Grant!
@@clarkkent1680 I only tuned in to watch Grant because I am a fan of Grant’s. So your opinion that Chris was better is yours.. My opinion that Grant stole the show is mine. Grant’s acting is always superb. We will leave it at that.
From great writing to camera work all around couldn't find anything to critic, made me think about my family dynamic and I definitely cried having alot of similarities to the characters. 👌 wow
I loved it, I felt in a strange tension speculating that it was going to happen all the time. I loved him from beginning to end. I will send it to every detached idiot around me, a life lesson, a shake that many need these days.
this is just a 12 minute short but it's so emotionally charged I have to pause every now and then. (you can say it...more or less, kinda have this kind of relationship)
Holy crap gorgoues film making also love to see grant doing something equally cool outside of a scarlet suit. The message of this film is awesome and their chemistry is palpable
awww i absolutely love this.. my take on this is that Grant’s character was/is really struggling with his mental health and was probably gonna do the wrong thing and called Chris before but he didn’t pick up the phone.
Chris’s screaming line delivery of “That’s so fucked up!!!” at 6:58 is gold 🤌🏼 Also, the fight in the snow reminds me so much of my cousins. They would constantly call out safe words and then start fighting again and have to make up new safe words (pineapple was one, as well as Charmander and several other Pokémon if I remember correctly) 😂
No way it has been taken in one take...really? Wow impressive!! And what a great message too ❤ Both of you can be proud of this work and as we would say in french Bravo 👏
This short film not only proves the talent of these two, especially I mention Chris because I follow his work more, but to be honest, it tells a beautiful story of two brothers, you can see a lot of emotions mixed there and even though they fight against each other the other in the snow and in words both brothers love each other, this conveys a very positive and emotional message about family relationships. If we love our family we have to be around and check on those we really love and not be distant. The location is perfect, the script is perfect, the performances are beautiful and moved me. I love this project. I'm really glad I attended. I love you Chris Wood, as always I love your performances. Grant, congrats, I loved the acting. I just hope that one day there will be the second part of SNOWSHOE.
@@bekker993 Yeah, indeed, those people are so wrong, I mean I watched so many performances by Chris and to be honest he's very talented, my favorite actor actually. I think another actors need to learn much more with him. Plus he's the IDONTMIND founder and trully help people alot! Help me with my anxiety and I recomended always his mental health campaign to all my friends. Thank you for you opinion. I wish more people share the opinion as you do. Hugs

Chris being left behind again brings back Prison World vibes. Other than that, love the short film! All in one take? Amazing. Grant, Chris, both great duos. It sends a simple message. Emotional and funny.
this is so freaking amazing... the storyline, the importance of loved ones is so incredibly potrayed...chris n grant make pretty awsm leads...loved this so much❤
This is hilarious 🤣❤️Chris wailing like a kid into Grant! Melissa is either watching this peeing her pants laughing or is reactionless like ‘😳’. Those two crack me up! X

"WATERMELON" **proceeds to face plant him into the snow** lmao
So no one is gonna talk about how Grant can finally cuss in his acting films? It’s been 9 years watching The Flash and I’ve never seen and heard him cuss😂 hearing him swear makes me laugh and brings up my day.
He did cuss on the show a few times whenever he was frustrated. Like in s4 when Cisco had that self destruct sequence in his suit 😂
@@darkarrow3683 but he didn’t say “ fk “
He only say “ damn “ or damnit .he didn’t even say “ shit “ in the flash ❤
@@barrylynn596 Still counts bruh cuz Barry was visibly scared, nervous and angry that one of his best friends and teammates made a contingency plan to kill him. He was well within his right to cuss in that moment
If you’ve seen bloopers of the flash, he swears in those too. It’s very strange. 😭
no because we aren't 5 so someone cussing isn't that big a deal
for that whole "watermelon" bit, I couldn't tell if they were laughing or crying lmaooo
Seeing Grant Gustin play the wholesome Barry Allen for so long, listening to him swear is so weird, lol.
so insanely impressive. one continuous take, in 7+ inches of snow, 3 attempts, a crew of 12, & every emotion in the book on display. all with an important message. WOW. loved this so much

Watch it for the story and then watch it again for the technique. One shot is mind-blowing!
So…now I need a whole series on these two brothers!! I have so many questions and need to see more. Amazing and masterful.
This needs more views and recognition! Watching it again the 2nd time and it still brought me through a rollercoaster of emotions.

When you watched the Arrowverse for so long that a single actual curse word feels and sounds weird coming out of the same actor in a different media.
Ohhh my god this was Phenomenal. To see these actors shine in a different light. Absolutely fantastic
