- Well the #PNSO Prehistoric Animal Models line just keeps trucking along. Next up is their #Pachyrhinosaurus. This figure is definitely a huge step up in detail and paint apps from the first few offerings that came out last year. However I do have a couple issues with that figure. But in the end it has a good rendition of this species. Just a couple things holding it back from being great.

PNSO have done such a great job applying the paint to their recent figures, they actually look like picture on the box now!! The colors on this figure’s head kind of remind me of a rooster haha. Great review!!

EDIT: after some research, it appears that this figure is based on specimen TMP 86.55.258 and the figure's supraorbital bos and nasal bos look pretty close to that of said specimen.
I decided to get this beauty, I think it will be my new favorite Pachyrhinosaurus figure 😊
This is like Safari's Pachyrhinosaurus with its great details had a baby with Battat's Pachyrhinosaurus with its better overall proportions.

Also you should put a request for the other pachyrhinosaurs species on eofauna’s website! Seems like with their upcoming triceratops they like doing underrepresented species

Personally I prefer the Terra By Battat Pachyrhinosaurus over the other ones but I do think the Pnso version is also pretty decent and it’s nice to have a good review of it
I think the PNSO Pachy, the Safari Pachy and the Papo Pachy are Pachyrhinosaurus lakustai, the battat one is probably perotorum, because of his shield, the pachys from the walking with dinosaurs movie and march of dinosaurs are also lakustai and the pachy from the movie disneys dinosaur looks just like the one from Papo, so it should be lakustai too
I want to one day make accurate dinosaur figures and the first one I want to make is Pachyrhinosaurus Canadensis which I want to make 1/35 scale same as the Lakustai from PNSO but bigger
The Pachyrhinosaurus looks like the one from Jurassic Fight Club.
Nice piece, but I agree the front feet seem under-sculpted. I feel I’d go nuts looking them lol. But overall, PNSO seems to be in a roll. Their recent stuff is pretty good.
Yep their paints apps have gotten so so much better. Wonder what else they have planned for this year??

Which pachyrinosaurus is better Mattel or PNSO because I only want one?
Depends on how your collection is. If you are a fan of JW go with that one. The PNSO is more accurate (asides from the couple issues I have with it). I happen to like both JW and accurate dinosaurs so I have both lol

In defense of this figures nasal bos every individual animal probably varied in shape and form that’s how I see it
