Metal Bat was insane. You dont want a battle of attrition against him. The more beaten he is, the stronger he gets.
He's the type of battle spirit hero, like Goku or Jonathan Joestar. The more challenging it gets the more he grows above himself.
Metal Bat is actually stronger when he's "not in the best condition" (up to a certain limit). The more you hurt him, the stronger he becomes. So it's perfect for him that he was "pumped up" before starting the fight with Garo.
The best way to beat Metal Bat easily is to eliminate him fast with decisive moves, such as with blades for example (Atomic Samurai or Flashy Flash would be perfect counters).
Nah Flashy flash and Atomic samurai are literally perfect matchups to Metal Bat because fighting spirit has a time limit and they can pump up Metal Bat as hell at beginning of the fight and we saw Metal Bat can not be killed unless he encounters an attack that exceeds the upper limit of his figting spirit and that limit is even beyond Sage centipede's power otherwise someone who hurt by Human Garou would pop like Sage centipede's 3333 leg grand march because even Awakened Garou took damage by that attack
Garou is like us, I think all of us at least once thought about how unfair it is that heroes ALWAYS win. Still Garou took this mindset to a extreme level by becoming one and wanting to become the biggest strongest villain monster who can take down the heroes.

he didn't want to be the biggest strongest villain monster. "good? evil? i reject them both" he just wanted justice because heroes always win (in movies, comics, etc.)

@@haikoxpp I also never said he was "evil" I just said he wants to become the strongest so that at least for once villains win. He is actually not good but also not evil he is more gray, although he did some questionable things you can see when he talks to children he isn't "pure evil", his mindset just makes him a antagonist.

Well (spoiler) as long as he's human he's really nothing compared with Tatsumaki tbh. Even in monster form, I think pre-Gargoyle Garo (the complete monster form) is weaker than Tatsumaki (including the Garo that crushed Sage Centipede, Tatsumaki seems stronger to me).
So, if we forget when Garo borrows power from god (it's not his power after all), only the most monster-ified Garo, Gargoyle Garo, seems stronger than Tatsumaki to me. So he's not wrong saying that Tatsumaki is clearly on another level. It's just that Garo evolved again and again without any end.
You pretty much already spoiled it by saying that fact itself.

I mean there are people's such boros , Saitama , blast who are unaffected by her psychic powers so only thing garou would have problem will be with indirect attacks i mean he will not be affected by body manipulating attacks like she did to genos and also the complete monster form is surely powerfull than or atleast equal to boros final form . And the cosmic mode is not like he asked for power by himself he knew that God was offering his power by his ulterior motive and offcourse you can't say that that's not his power , he had to reach that level so that God could recognise him worthy of his power unlike homeless emperor

Metal bat is like a really cool Idea pretty common but pretty cool, there's no real way to beat metal bat unless you manage to kill him in first move before he pumps up. Or else the more you hit the stronger he hits and stronger he gets
All the S class heroes are pretty awesome. Metal Bat is up there with Zombieman as far as just built to be a badass.
Fubuki (hero name Hellish Blizzard) and Tatsumaki (hero name Terrible Tornado) are the espers.
Metal bat is one of my favorite s class heroes, after flashy flash and blast, he's just so cool.
