I will politely disagree. We have a class c and I try to cook outside even in cold weather because food smells stay inside so much. I would give up carting more stuff for a vent any day.
@@wineboxgo into most people's houses you can smell what kind off food they cook when you walk in the smell goes into everything, carpets , curtains, couches , everything, big deal just have a good range hood and open windows, cook something different every day the smell will change 😅😊
@@winebox a hood vent is important, but it doesn't need to take up all of that space. It's styled like it's in the show kitchen of a renovation on a TV show, instead of in an RV where space is critical.
Many homes have the hood built into the bottom of a cabinet and the vent pipe goes through the middle. This would help add more storage to this motorhome. And the look is not as important......
This is actually a Class A that would want to own. I like the power plant and the smaller length. More than enough power on the road and just small enough to fit into most sites. The styling makes it unique. Definitely not big and boxy (clunky?) like other Class A motorhomes. Good work, Coachman. I just hope it will be available in Canada.
Really beautiful motor home. I’d customize it for myself a bit (1) remove the two extra seats under the TV and install a desk /work table with storage drawers beneath (2) drop down to a full size bed and add a large built in closet with cabinets in the bedroom (3) reconfigure the bathroom so the sink doesn’t block the shower. Not sure if this model has a garage, but would be interested to see the exterior storage. Otherwise, I really like it.
Suggestions: Skip the fancy range hood in favor of more cabinet space. Put the microwave up there and a cabinet below where the microwave is. Make the folding bed a recliner bed when the slide is in. Makes it usable for brief stays or adds an extra reading area. (I'm small and could sleep on the flat end with the slide in at rest stops or parking lots while traveling.)🦄You could name this "Unicorn."
Hell NOOOOO! A hood range is an ABSOLUTE MUST. stupid to not have it, entire place would stink, smells going into the fabric, carpet, anything that is poris and gunk up. Hood RANGE is a MUST just as it's a MUST HAVE for a vent in the bathroom

At 27 feet overall and on the 178" wheelbase (not the shortest 158"), this will be one of the few motorhome built on the F53 that doesn't need rear frame extensions to support the body.
Good sized Class A. I agree a diesel could be beneficial. The stove exhaust looks nice but there is wasted storage space around; function over design is better in my estimation. I’m not keen on white on white on white, rather I prefer some color & texture. Like the combined dining & living area. We didn’t get to see outside storage.

Love the induction instead of gas. Wish it had a pull out pantry. Do not care for the flip up bed in the master bedroom. Wish you made an RV that did not have slides but was aerodynamic like this one. Perhaps if it had a rear bathroom instead? Also solar and a on-demand hot water heater
This is the first class A I've seen that I'd actually want to own. Really reminds me of the was the Leisure Unity made a complete transformation of the class B+/C segment. This feels bigger than it is, and the multifunction front space is great. Unfortunately, I'm sure it'll be way outside my price range, but if it wasn't, I'd consider it for full time living. If I could change one thing, I'd add washer/dryer prep, and maybe see if you could squeeze a workstation area somewhere. I really liked the design of the Lance 2465 with the owner's suite, but in this case the bathroom takes up part of the owner's suite so I'm not sure that could be done here without stretching the chassis.
I think this rv is awesome with the European cabinetry, the galley and bathroom are nice as well as the bedroom. The only thing I’m not sure about is sofa and the seats across from them. It just seems too crowded to me. If someone sat in the chair and put their feet up there wouldn’t be any room to walk through there. Is anyone else seeing this or am I the only one? Thanks for sharing this JD, it’s a great rv, do you know if those will come in a couple different floor plans?
With both cab seats mounted on swivels so they can be used as arm chairs in the evening do you really need two more recliners in the back as well? To me this shows an area where the American mind set is still in charge, look at how the European motorhomes are using the space to better effect.
Maybe I miss understood. I thought the salesman said the two seats behind the driver had seatbelts so you could carry 2 more people. I do agree the front living room needs a bit of a change. Maybe a small slide out on the sofa side to make it a little bigger? I do like the look of it. Being able to take it to national and state parks would be wonderful. Thank you
Watch a lot of US reviews, first time I’ve seen one I would actually want. Our new German Cathargo has incredible lighting and curved cupboards and lockers, so modern and contemporary. A lot of the US ones look like my granny’s cabinetry if that makes sense. Can see a lot of customers loving this.
Find hinges for the pantry and garbage doors that will allow for more than 90 degree swing. Its a small space and i can see the doors tearing the hinges out as a person tries to pass. Also, definitely pull out racks for the pantry!
Finally a US made RV that looks classy. I love the European RV's they are sleek and modern looking. This one I could spend some time in. I like the size too and driving it would be easy. I have pulled large horse trailers so I am not afraid of large rigs but I would much prefer one this size that can go almost anywhere. The only thing I don't like is the bed. I would want a tilt top model and NO slide. Or even a twin bed set up. Every thing else Good job Coachmen
Mrs and I like this RV as a potential replacement to our Winnie Solis 59PX. Hoping the Euro trend continues, I'd love to see a rear garage space for two mountain bikes and would gladly give up kitchen and bath space for this feature. Also, we think the bump out is ok, but we'd rather have something true Euro style, no bumpout. Keep up the vision !
The 7.3L is the best engine I've ever had the pleasure of driving. Coupled with a five speed, that b didn't care what the load was. Up hill, down hill, didn't matter. I really like this set up! Thanks.
I like this RV. Woukd be nice it it had smaller v6 diesel 3L or 3.5L better fuel economy. O ly concer is for tall drivers, the top of windshield looks low! Also, driver side mirrors look to be in front of drivers seat if seat is all the way back
One thing they could really work on is making a larger outside storage compartment for chairs, folding table etc. In addition have a color coded stock trailer hitch trunk that looks like it was made for this one model only, It would be a great answer to storage.
Love this rig. Finally, some Euro style and shape but with American comforts. One suggestion. Swap the placement of the couch and theater seats. Put seats with the footrest extension on the passenger side so we can kick back and watch TV. TV is decent spot so even the co-pilot can watch. Otherwise move the TV to the opposite side.
As a UK Class A motorhomer - This is something that I would like to see in US Hire fleets to tempt more Europeans who are nervous of your big rigs to take road trip vacations in The US. I also agree with the comments below that European style "Garage" underbed storage accessible from the outside would be more practical than the slide out. Personally I don't like the transverse strip lights, they look more at home in an office. keep the zoning panels but starlight LEDS would be the dog's doodahs. Oh and the 8-10mpg is rather obscene . Us Europeans like to get 26-30mpg in diesel form (have you seen the price of our fuel?? 😱)
I’m about a week away from ordering the Pursuit 27 but I love love LOVE this rig❤️❤️❤️!!! Deal breaker for me would be no model without slide-outs!!…Seems to me the slide really kills your entire euro design ethos😳😢🥵 Sure is awesome in every other way!! (And BTW, women love big trucks AND power tools!)
Love this design and the focus upon being smaller and unique. If you could design this with configurations that allow end user mods it could be an interesting way to go… example: many of us watch Tv on our iPads, just need mounts (let customers configure the tv or drop it). Love the walk around bed but hate the slide out. Can you create a twin bed layout or Murphy bed and leave out the slide? Look at what Leisure Travel has done in their B+ designs - very innovative.
Beautiful coach! LOVE the size and would definitely consider something like this vs. Class C especially w/towing capacity here. ? boondocking capability and would love to see more details!
Thanks for this look at the Euro. Heading in the right direction Coachmen. Please put a diesel in it, this platform can accept one. No countertop LED rope lightning needed, ditch that. Thanks for the the flat/euro cabinets and no outdated valances or grandma cabinets with dozens of handles, carved wood and gaudy wall sconces/light fixtures. Please don't cheap out on the materials and furniture. The rims are OK, give us some options. Reconfigure that doggie window, round the corners or ditch it. Add adjustable shelves to the wardrobe so people have options. Shower hot and cold faucets stick out too far. Nice work so far. Congratulations to the team that developed the Euro.
This is really a terrific collaboration on Coachman staff &’ developers, part! you guys have knocked this Coachmen Eruo out of the ballpark I really Like the Layout &’ how you guys have nailed it… it really does have a European Look &’ style inside &’ out! if I’am able to find one when my legal issues are settled Coachmen Euro, &’ I are going to do some traveling…. congratulations 🎉 Coachmen developers…
no best in show sticker on this one? of the 2 videos I've seen on this unit, neither showed any of the exterior storage, which is concerning since it doesn't look like much from what I can tell in the vids. That being said, this is still very intriguing and close to the top of my list.
Personally i mostly like the layout of this class a. I would only change placement of tv. It really reminds of Canadian leisure class b. The only thing i didn't care for on the leisure class b was the length. This class a gives you the extra length and goodies without being too large. Excided it would fit in state and national parks. Thank you
We are retiring in about a year and this will be our first purchase. We have gone in an older 40' and found that to be big for our needs and find this 27 to maybe slightly larger euro offering will suit us better. I have 2 2020 7.3 Super Dutys and one has 1 155k and my personal truck has 62k...both been flawless and I am happy to see a gasser being used. Looking forward to see the finish product and pricing. Thanks
I have a 1991 Itasca Windcruiser. The exterior of this Coachmen looks like an evaluation of my RV. The interior, however, is a complete departure from most Class A US interior designs. I am not a fan of the twisty locks on the exterior. Thanks for another great video!
Outstanding! Would like to offer ONE suggestion, and that's for a model that would have the bedroom with an oversize single/full mattress and a work desk with file cabinet/drawers. Don't need that massive king mattress.
Could do with a drop down bed over the cab, then have two dedicated sleeping areas. Other than that nailed it, not sure the huge V8 is very European though.
A slide out extension on the lagoon table would be great to make it longer, so more than 2 people can use the table since you already have it designed for four seating.
Nice size. I can see the Big Class A buyers are aging away. The is perfectly sized for the people looking for more room that the class b and not ready for the size or look of the cutaway class c. Hoping to see this become the class e for "Europe" Thank you for sharing and have a great day.
I've always loved the Euro style RVs! Not as big and could run it all over America! I would definitely be interested in buying this!!! I'm single, so it will fit!
Going smaller and making inside bigger you guys nailed this one its perfect , i could live in it easy 😊 need to put the steering wheel on other side for me please , Australia 🇦🇺 👍
Rule number one in sales. And yes, being a general manager IS your company's number one salesperson! Do not trust a salesman who can't give you the respect to take his sunglasses off while talking to you. Especially when you are indoors!
Dont support any kind export to e-urope-.. THATS A NONSENSE TO CALLED these minibus camper as e u r😲p e a n... Bcz all nutzieur😢rulers & s😧😧 v i e t SUPPOSELY FINISHING THEIR TRILION $ DEBTS PAYMENT !! Btw U SHOULD KNEW those rulers printing dollar outside of america continent!
I was expecting so much more in the interior from the looks of the exterior but am really disappointed. It’s nothing like European designed RV. Cheap looking and could be one of their class c’s. Ugh!
Love to see more twin bed options. but I have always been a big fan of the Euro caravans. Also like to see more Euro travel trailers. Great job on this unit!
I have a 30ft 2004 trek safari. The bed goes up into the ceiling ("electromagic") This RV would have really benefitted from that feature, as it dramatically increases living space.
This is probably already been mentioned, but the storage cabinets above the sink and stove look like what you would find on an airplane overhead storage.
The only thing I would have liked to see in this one was an overhead drop down sleeping area over the front seats. That way you can sleep up to 6 in it.
It would be nice if you see drop-down beds in front and maybe a bigger driver screen with side view security cameras for driving and security when at parks...
THIS is what I want to see more of in the mass produced US RV market, innovation and originality that you see in the Euro/Asian market(s). I just don't get why other manufactures keep insisting on using LP when induction cooktops and electric fridge/ heating is available. Something like this would be great for my mrs and I, especially for state/national parks and harvest host stays.
Finally someone is catching up and getting why the european market is light years ahead , Its been a long time coming. We need to build motorhomes that have style and function and have the quality to back it up. Lets be real people want there moneys worth when investing there lifes savings on a home on wheels. As a tour manager for rock bands i have travelled on almost every brand of motor homes and tour buses over the last 30 years. i was appalled how the quality of the product that was used hinges, brackets, wood joinery etc. I remember the first time i walked into a Country coach and was so blown away how beautiful the attention to detail was. Manufactures did not see the Sprinter custom van market potential and now its booming and now everyone even Tiffin who is great is taking notice. My 2 cents worth.
looks a LOT like the Monaco Vesta from 2012, which was a front-engine diesel. The Vesta was such a cool coach, but a love/hate front end. I'd like to see this coach in a diesel. I'd bring the over-cab space down and put storage up there--also makes the drive cozier/quieter with a lower ceiling. The strip LED"s look neat--but I'd be curious what replacement would entail. Do they dim? Change color?
Personally I like this - I'm not looking at class A's but this wouldn't be bad. I wish it had a diesel option (for reliability/economy and the general ease a diesel has with towing/hauling) and the range hood may look cool but it's a waste of potential storage space. Even keeping the hood and wrapping a cabinet around it would be an improvement.
The "blacked out wheels" are covers, over cheap steel wheels. The shorter F53 variants are only on in the lighter GVWR, and the lighter GVWR only comes from Ford with 19.5" steel wheels.
Finally something practical in North America. Good job! For most people out there, dragging that BUS, storing and fueling it has been nightmare. This, what i see is perfect. Get rid of the oven hood. To resemble European choices, add a drop down bed, small oven, sleeping for mam and dad with three kids.....then i will put a deposit for one. Similar European choices actually do have five berth and 'garage' Overall, splendid.
Reminds me of the Thor Axis/Vegas with some of the same issues -- small shower, toilet on a weird pedestal, no room to walk around the bed. I have yet to see a smaller drivable unit that competes with the bathroom in our Solaire trailer with it's 30x48 shower. For older people with arthritis tiny showers and narrow/short bed access are horrible. Shower should be 32x36 minimum in every RV to be functional, and you need at least 16 inches of space to get around the bed and access for at least 3/5 of the bed length.
It would be nice if US manufactured motor homes all came with radiant heat, instead of the higher priced versions. That would be nice. I like the fact it has only 1 slide.
I don’t think the hood vent is worth the sacrifice of storage space. Put the convection/micro there and have more storage. Diesel should be an option. I don’t like the folding bed aspect. For a compact unit I want to be able to use it parked without having to put the slide out. Overall, I hope there’s some competition in this market to see how others can compare!
Finally a motorhome that looks less like something from the 70’s!!! Cute hood but waste of space. Using a microwave vented to the outside would be more efficient. Kitchen cabinets need adjustable shelving and so do the storage ones. We didn’t see enough of the coach itself to make more comments but the proto looks nice.
The range hood is nice, but I would prefer more storage with a vent on the underside. Are the individual chairs recliners? Nice counter space. What’s the benefit of having a masterating toilet?
The macerating toilet is probably used because the black tank is not directly under the toilet, so they need to pump the waste to the tank location. That's just an educated guess.
Rails along the full lenght of the roof radius to enclose a full length awning. Matching but hollow rail on the drivers side. It would give it that "big bus" look and hide full solar / lithium battery package. Place big lithium batteries where the gen lives.
I agree with the comments on the range hood. Nice but less important than more storage. Also, can the king bed be swapped for 2 twins? I travel with friends and would rather not share a bed with them. But very nice looking. Would like to know how much interior and exterior storage there is.
Coachmen needs to use a revised Freightliner MC Custom Chassis with the Cummins front end diesel, shorter and lighter frame, independent front suspension, all disc brakes with VRide, digital dash etc. That is what the do in Europe folks, not gasoline.
That wouldn't be an MC... but sure, Coachmen could try to make a deal with Freightliner to build that... but why not just get them to build a light XC pusher chassis instead?
The pantry should have a pull out. The tv above the best seating? That is where I would like to sit, not on the sofa. But you can’t see the tv in the best seats. Should have an option in the bedroom for king, queen or twin beds. And I agree about the kitchen vent hood. Storage is so valuable and bending to get a hot casserole dish out of the low microwave is not safe. Think about us older rvers please.
Who cares...euro / American, this thing is damn functional for its class size. Want a 45 ft class A bus...go ahead, if you have the bucks. BTW, 5his one has a (very large) Ford V8. You can have it serviced or repaired at any Ford dealership or repair shop in the world
Was that a dishwasher under the stove? Does it a washer dryer combo machine? And how about a microwave? Wifi and solar panels and even make it an EV in the future
Looks great except two things. Why are the recliner seats under the TV?? Put them on the other side. Second, maybe it has one not shown but with the entrance door so far back I would need a driver door.
I would suggest losing the kool looking range hood for more storage or microwave placement. The saying is, " there's beauty in function ".

Love it! I would love a tilt-down bed above the front cab so everyone has a bed!
Or at least a shelf above the cab for more storage...
The windshield slope, which I like in some ways (such as for aerodynamics) kills the space for bed, or even the usual storage bins.
Recommend adding a living room slide as others have. Then it’s a winner!
Really looking forward to seeing this hit the market. No troublesome slides, basement storage? but, if the price is right…heck yes.
The bedroom is on slide...
Way cool. Deff beats the crap out of any class RV too me. Love it has gas engine as well
I’m about a week away from ordering the Pursuit 27 but I love love LOVE this rig❤️❤️❤️!!! Deal breaker for me would be no model without slide-outs!!…Seems to me the slide really kills your entire euro design ethos😳😢🥵 Sure is awesome in every other way!! (And BTW, women love big trucks AND power tools!)
I agree. Wish there were no slide out. I can live with a smaller bed :)
I could go with or without a slide out - but it didn't have a King Bed, that would be the deal breaker!
Absolutely love this rig and I pray you sell a bunch of them
Love this design and the focus upon being smaller and unique.
I've been looking real hard at B's, B plus and small C's but could be my game changer I like it!
The F53 chassis is not available with a diesel engine. Yes, a Powerstroke 6.7 would fit, but Ford won't sell that.
Just what I'm looking for.
Loose the hood and swap the couch and chairs so you can watch the TV
no best in show sticker on this one? of the 2 videos I've seen on this unit, neither showed any of the exterior storage, which is concerning since it doesn't look like much from what I can tell in the vids.
Thank you
The LTV is a class C. Some call it a B+ I agree I like the longer length of the Euro and the slide out.
This new $200,000 “Euro” coach looks really, really, really like a modified Coachmen Pursuit.
Neat concept, looks like some competition for the Thor Vegas & Axis.
Use Freimhtlighner Custom chassis front, Cummins diesel engine and North South bed with no slide-out!
Reminds me of the GMC Series from the 1970 with 2023 upgrades. I am restoring a 1977 Eleganza.
What took you so long Coachmen! Looks great! This is just the start!
It looks exactly like our public transport vehicles known as “Matatus” 😊 except it’s missing the flashing LED lights and 7+ TV screens.
I've always loved the Euro style RVs! Not as big and could run it all over America! I would definitely be interested in buying this!!! I'm single, so it will fit!
You need to add drawers in one of the hanging storage. Storage space over the driver and pilot should have doors.
Going smaller and making inside bigger you guys nailed this one its perfect , i could live in it easy 😊 need to put the steering wheel on other side for me please , Australia 🇦🇺 👍
This RV is going to Leisure Time RV’s a run for its money!
Rule number one in sales. And yes, being a general manager IS your company's number one salesperson! Do not trust a salesman who can't give you the respect to take his sunglasses off while talking to you. Especially when you are indoors!
Your argument holds no water, especially considering your nickname.
Welcome back to smaller class A's! These look reasonable vs those monster rigs.
Those 2 chairs behind the drivers seat really need to have arm rests added. The colors are beautiful inside.
I’d like to see more of the camper and less of the company sunglasses man.
I do believe you and Matt Foxcroft are following each other!
Make the chairs in left side swivel forward for travel mode!
Been waiting a LONG TIME...but it finally happened at the 3:01 mark! :-) (Gotta pause the video at just the right moment to catch the reflection! 🙂)
Any gas engine class A would be an upgrade with Lizard Skin to protect driver and passenger from engine heat & noise. I love the 2 A/C w/soft start.
Looks like a 1970s TRAVCO!
Very nice to see it made in America. Love that they're moving away from the grandma looking interiors.
I like that design but we have nothing like that in Australia 😢
Do like it. Would like to see a rear twin bed option if possible.
Have you guys in the States seen the Carthago Liner for two, that’s built in Germany.Beautiful motorhome.
I would switch the recliner style chairs with the couch
