    Thank you! I tried the Oticon aids, then I tried the Silk 5X. So far the Silk aids are better, but more expensive. I agree that my own voice is more recognizable with the Silk aids. Mine are rechargeable, but not Bluetooth... yet.

    I have had my Silk 5X's since Jan 2021. Prior to that I had 5NX's for 2 years (the X is the update - they look identical). The units are perfect to use, just about invisible, and do not fall out the ear. I replace batteries every 7 days. In South Africa Signia (Siemens) Silk's carry a 3 year warranty - with excellent Signia support. My NX's were replaced twice under warranty, and I am taking my X's in to my audiologist tomorrow for a warranty claim.... The problem is exactly the same as the NX's... the sound level decreases over time. Currently my Rt side unit is just about useless... I am currently wearing the NX's. When they work, NX's & X's are just the best.
