I was in a church that taught healing and prosperity but the word was the number one thing it’s all about the word

Thank you Peters, you have really 'opened' up my mind in your teaching of healing, undeniably you are speaking nothing but the truth about healing now or healing later referring to Hebrews 11:13; 39-40 that of God's plan of salvation in new heavens and the earth where death, sickness and pain be removed and destroyed ultimately.
This is what you say for having the faith but did not receive the promise, nevertheless it is good and right to pray for physical healing as the the word of God says, because God has a better place for us as mentioned above!
I totally agree with this assessment on Hillsong music. I have prayed and studied and sought God's wisdom in this area for the last six months. Since I don't know the 'spirit' to which their songs are sung/written, yet I DO know of their heretical teaching, we now avoid ALL HILLSONG (music AND teaching) alike as if it were the plaque. We've since left our evangelical church over the music (and other teachings) and have returned to a liturgical church where hymns only are sung. . . Seeking a safe harbor away from the spiritual manipulation that's become commonplace within Evangelical America.
A vision experiences I had in my family:
My stepson was 12 years old. He sat next to me in church and during the service he looked at me with big eyes clearly shocked and sad,"Dad I've seen something, I've seen someone laying on top of a coffin ". I calmed him down and said to him to carry on to give attention to the service and that we will attend to his experience ather the service.
He spook to his mother and she wrote the vision down .As I mentioned above the man he saw was my uncle the Priest
Two weeks later my uncle's colon burst and he was rushed to hospital where they performed a emergency procedure but there were more complications and a second procedure was performed.
After the second procedure he went into a coma for 7 months.
I believe the vision my son had was that my uncle would have a near death experience that is why he laid on top of the coffin and not in it.
Question:
My husband and I have been involved with the Word Faith Movement. I have become disillusioned with their theology of suffering. I know the Scripture verses that show we are to expect suffering in this life, but how can I make emotional sense out of suffering when it happens?
Answer:
Human suffering entered the world due to the effects of original sin. God does not cause the suffering. He simply permits it to happen in our lives. To understand suffering, we must first understand some basic principles about God.
God is all-knowing. He is aware of every pain we feel and every tear we shed. He can see our entire life on earth as well as our eternal destiny. God is all-loving. He loves us more than we love ourselves and would not permit something to happen to us that would keep us from our ultimate good, which is God himself. God is all-powerful. He can bring good out of evil.
Bearing these facts in mind, sometimes God permits suffering to keep us from a greater suffering later or to preserve us for a greater good. For example, you might be passed over for a seemingly great job opportunity, only to get a better one later. Or God may know a danger lurking in the job environment that could bring you physical or spiritual harm. Trusting in God helps us deal with this kind of suffering.
Sometimes God permits us to suffer the consequences of our behavior. If we are sexually promiscuous, we might suffer disease, broken relationships, and other problems caused by our behavior. This suffering brings about good when we change our lives and abide by God’s laws.
Further, God permits us to lose things that we have come to worship above him. For example, someone who has made money his god may suffer the shame and hardship of bankruptcy. This suffering can bring about a total dependence on God and submission to his will.
God may allow suffering that has no apparent reason-a child dies, we are injured in a car accident, or a natural disaster strikes. These situations are the most difficult to understand. Yet though we do not see the reason for such suffering we know that there is one, even if it is not apparent from our limited perspective.
We are particularly vulnerable and weak when we suffer because we recognize that we are not in control. Yet it is precisely at this moment that we can become our strongest, if we learn to depend on God. Christ died to save us from the loss of heaven. He did not die to save us from suffering in this world.
Yet suffering need never be in vain. St. Paul says, “Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I complete what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of the body, that is the church . . . ” (Col 1:24). We can join our suffering with Christ’s for the sake of others. In this way suffering becomes redemptive. It is not suffering but our response to it that makes it so.
He's taking Kenyon out of context. When Kenyon said that he was referring to the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (who is God, after all) in our bodies of flesh, and that's what "incarnation" means - "God In The Flesh". He wasn't saying that we're just as much God as Jesus. He was saying that it's just as true that God the Holy Spirit indwells believers as it is that God lived in a body in the person of Jesus.
Jew and Greek Jesus WAS GOD. The Holy Spirit I’m indwelling in believers is NOT the same as it was with Jesus.
People need to understand why Justin does this....I understand because I also became disabled but I have never tried to go to a Preacher that heals people. I go directly to God in relationship. I may go to my Pastor for advice about things going on in life but healing is up to Jesus. We will get a new body that is incoruptible, always strong, healthy and we can only imagine what that kind of body like Jesus will be like until He puts our spirit into it when it is raised! Praise Jesus!
i am not saying God doesn't bless people in many ways,i am saying the Word says to pray for Gods will in everything you do,not what we want in our lives,but what He wants in our lives
Very difficult to find a good home church,pastor, these days . What to do? Is it okay to watch on tv and or study alone with videos?
As for Christ centered theologically correct and biblical music, I strongly recommend the group CityAlight. No one is more Christ centered than this group to my knowledge. They are found on UA-cam as well.

Ephesians 4-11-14 How do we get past these verses if there are no more prophets? I ask because we are far from coming into unity of the faith and are being tossed to and fro. I appreciate your teachings. There are questions I have though. I have come out of the word of faith movement, but I still have unanswered concerns.
I believe I was divinely healed. I had both of my knees replaced at the same time and used a Walker with some pain and difficulty. One morning I was getting ready to make breakfast and I felt a heat come over me and I felt a strength come into my knees which I cannot explain. It came out of the blue. My pain went away and have quit using my Walker that day.

Music is a spiritual language, the frequency and keys will unlock the spiritual realm. I used to hear all kinds of music and I do not get any headaches, but after my conversion I can only listen to Gospel music, no other religious music gives me music, most contemporary Christian music gives me headaches and is very noisy to my soul. But there is no way for the ordinary Christian to detect where this music originates, except the discernment of the spirit, without this discernment you will not be aware of the origin of the music. What you feed your soul will defile it and you become more and more irritable and aggressive and impatience. As long as you feel no peace, it is not of God throw it away. One simple way is to look at the artist beliefs and their life and you will know what they have produced. When you receive their music you receive their spirit.
The Word of Faith proclamations, Speak and have it happen is a false teachings because unless God gave you this power you will not be able to decree anything of your own imaginations. Lamentations 3:37-38New International Version (NIV)37 Who can speak and have it happen

Jan Crouch believed and taught others that she was a "little god." Interestingly enough, the Word of God has something to say to false teachers who claim such things, and it is this...

God's Word is ALWAYS the right point of view, ALWAYS correct, ALWAYS reflects reality and is ALWAYS how it really is. It is the truth, no matter who teaches false doctrine, or what they claim.
When God said they will die like mortal men, is essence He was asking "what is the point of seeing yourself as a "god" when you are going to die like everyone else? What good does it do to claim to be a "god" when you are no different than every other human being? How does believing you are a "god" benefit you?"

The basis for the “little gods” claim is found in two Scripture passages. Psalm 82:6 which reads, “I said, ‘You are “gods”; you are all sons of the Most High.’” Jesus quotes this psalm in John 10:34, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I have said you are gods’?” However, both of these passages include explanations in the immediate context that clearly do not indicate human divinity.
Psalm 82:6 is followed by a warning that “you will all die like mere men, you will fall like every other ruler” (verse 7). The reference is to mortal men who represent God’s authority in the world-kings, judges, and magistrates...
"god" in that sense simply means a person, or being, or some limited authority. It does not mean divine.
They needed a term that "wouldn't offend" people who send in the money..."little god" was the perfect phrase to use.

If you read Psalms 82, the entire context refers to "gods" as nothing more than rulers, or people in a position of power, such as a judge, a king, possibly even a wealthy person; nothing more than mortal men. That is all it means, it does not justify any claim, as those made by the word faith heresy, of being some type of "divine being." Have you ever heard someone say something like this' "that Judge is a god in his courtroom."?
The "little gods" nonsense coming from word faith teachers has no basis in scripture.

1 Corinthians 8:5-6 - "For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us there is but ONE GOD, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him."
And by the way, if you hear someone try to use the above scripture to "prove" that Jesus wasn't God because it says "there is but ONE GOD, the Father," they need to read this...

Nobody that I know of teaches Arianism in the WoF or NAR. JP is distorting the doctrine of kenosis (which is taught in both) to make it into the equivalence of the heresy of Arianism. The doctrine of _kenosis_ (Jesus temporarily set aside some of His divine attributes [Phil. 2:7] in order to live as a man, accepting human limitations) embraces the eternal sonship of Jesus while Arianism teaches that Jesus became the Son of God when He was born and isn't an eternal member of the godhead. Either JP doesn't understand kenosis and Arianism or he's lying about WoF and NAR theology.
So you've got the word of faith movement pegged.... Now all you have to do is figure out which of the 30000 different denominations is correct. Isn't it amazing that one person can believe in tongues, and another believes tongues has ceased.... yet both say they have a personal relationship with Jesus. You'd think that just one person with a personal relationship with Jesus could get a straight answer from Jesus about which is correct! Is Jesus telling different things to different people?

Have you ever raised someone from the dead? Have you died on the cross for humanity? If not then you have not done greater works than Christ,
Obviously Christ meant we would do greater works in numbers.
Also we are not gods, If you actually read the psalm Jesus was quoting you would know it is poetic in nature.

Ill pass on this and keep holding fast my profession/confession of faith. If you're a believer in Christ and don't believe in confessing the Word of God you're going to get your butt kicked by unholy trinity- the world, the flesh and the devil. Jesus Himself knew that. So when the devil showed up with temptation the only answer was to SPEAK to it by quoting what God had said. Positive confession is using the spiritual law God created and removing Christ. A confession of faith is one born out of a heart of belief in what Jesus ratified in the New Covenant. Ironically, the unsaved world uses this spiritual principle more effectively than the church and they're on their way to hell. While we're arguing about confession and the "prosperity" gospel (of which there is no such thing) So sad and produces ineffective Christians who dont know how to use the spiritual laws God made for our benefit. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Listen to how people talk (saved and unsaved). We spew forth doubt, unbelief, twisted speech... No thanks. You can keep this. I'll challenge your Trinity teaching , Jesus is not GOD. Was the High priest of Israel God? No, he was mediator between man and God. For God has appointed Jesus our High Priest in the manor of Melchizedek. ( Hebrews 7 )And Jesus is that prophet God told Moses would eventually come. ( Deut 18:18-19 ) " I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. And whoever will not listen to my words that he shall speak in my name, I myself will require it of him." Compare ( Acts 3:17-23) Jesus himself said to his disciples, " I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” also listen to what Jesus says in ( Revelation 3:12 ) Mainstream Christianity teaches trinity.. that Jesus is literally GOD, this is of certain a false teaching. Jesus was God's spokesman, his prophet. I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness but eventually left after deep scripture study. I could no longer accept most of their doctrines.. but as for their teaching Jesus is not Almighty God, not deity but rather speaks for God,, I believe is correct. for he speaks the words of God and God performed miracles through him. Please, do not blindly follow Christendom's teachings, rather, study the scriptures, make sure that what is being taught is truth or error.( another thing to think about.. Almighty God does not have brothers... compare Matthew 12:50

It seems like this guy just wants to bash other pastors. Is that his ministry? Quit focusing and trying to point out what you think is wrong. If you dont agree with other people, I think you should meet and talk to them like a man and pray for them. You kinda seem like a modern day Pharasee who want to point out what they think is wrong and point the finger and compare there their doctrines with others and talk about how righteous they are.

Justin has cerebral palsy and wanted to be healed as a teenager, so he went to faith healer meetings and never got healed. As a result he concluded that all faith healers are frauds and has been on a crusade against all Charismatic/WoF ministers since the turn of the century. He is blinded by his contempt for the healing ministry to the point where he spreads misinformation and twists the scriptures against them. I've done 8 videos on the guy and it's amazing how much stuff he puts out there that is demonstrably wrong.
Where is your joy, Justin? You have a lot to say about other churches but would people be attracted to your theology and ''repent'' as a result? Remember, when you judge, you will also be judged, my friend.
