You have a better chance of living off the land in the tropics than in colder climates.
I love the simplicity and abundance of vegetables, fruits and wild life. I don’t mind going home with loving family and living in the province. It’s healthier to eat those foods found in the province than eating fast food and processed food in the city which are the main cause of heart disease, diabetes, obesity and other illnesses.

Life is difficult but you have all the resources around you to live and survive. That makes you more rich then most of us who lives overseas. I would love to live like you. Here in America we work 5-6 days a week, 8 to 12 hrs a day. Only one or two days to enjoy what you have that’s around you everyday 😊 you are blessed ❤

You are blessed with a place to live that even if you don't work for awhile there a lot of free food available around you. You can gather vegetables to eat and you don't starve. Our groceries cost $100+ (5,500 pesos) per week for two people. Also in the PI, the year around weather is tolerable. Electricity there is luxury. You don't have to have it . Here in the US, electricity is necessity. You have to have it to cool your house when the temperature outside is 117°F-47.22 °C (you can fry an egg on top of a car) and to heat it when 34°F - 1.11 °C ( water turn to ice) No wood to burn here. During the hotter months of the year (Jun, July, Aug, Sept) my average elect bill a month is about $250 (13,750 pesos). Cars also here in the US is not like in Pinas. In Pinas, most of the cars there are used as a luxury also. Here, if your job is 15-35 km away, you have to have a car to get there. We use cars here to go to work and luxury on the weekend. So, your family are rich with things to eat. Its just the material things is lacking.
Expensive wages 🥲 people in Province dreams to go in other countries to find job for big salary . But in other country expensive wages and expensive needs . 🥲
