- I had to take a drive and see our towns Christmas lights. Trouble is, there is too much traffic at night so I went out in the early morning hours. It was so quiet and beautiful with no traffic. I just purchased the Iphone 12 Max so I am hoping the lights will be more clear than they were with my old phone. Let me know what you can see!

This reminds me of the historic town that was near my grandma’s house. They decorated EVERYTHING for christmas. What a beautiful idea and video. This is one of my family's traditions every year around Christmas. Thank you for sharing your town with us. I'm from Canada and although you are very south of us this is what our Christmas usually looks like. This year we are going to be about 46 degrees Fahrenheit on Christmas and rain, yuk. Now I am married with my wife in Texas with a babyon the way and I will be able to have my mom over and we get to wake up on Christmas morning together. Oh and with the brat cats hahahaha. Sometimes we just have to go back home for a rest or a leg up or regroup. My girls have had some definite rough patches. I think I went home to my parents 3 times before I finally found my “adult legs”. Good thing, because they have both passed away.
Ooo this might be the only way I get to see the Christmas lights this year. I'm immunocompromised with a lung disease so the usual drive around town won't be happening 😞 That old stone church was gorgeous

Ahhh, another night video. Nice. I miss seeing all the lights and decorations at Christmas time. It seems folks don't do as much as they used to. I remember stores being all decorated, having sample baked goods, candies, nuts, snow, trains, the works. And everything smelled so good. And especially, folks remembered what Christmas was all about. It's not a sales holiday. We remembered that the holiday was about the birth of our Savior, who bore the sins of the world upon himself, to redeem those of us who believe, repent and turn to Him. this video was So comforting for me during my first year of college. i was in florida (dont know what i was thinking really, i’ve since transferred) and we barely had a winter break so i missed the snow/cold weather and the lights so much, don’t know why i ever left michigan lol (your town is so pretty by the way!)

Love the video. But the music in background I was really interesting because Christmas songs were reharmonized and slightly altered to make at them slightly different than the original music. Which added to the overall video experience which is quite interesting and strange.
Are you familiar with this particular artist? The reason I ask is because he puts a lot of minor types of notes in his songs. He kind of takes liberty with the original carols. The link to his music is in the descriptions under this video.

It's a long-standing tradition with my family to go out and see the Christmas lights and listen to Christmas music. And I do whisper and talk to myself quite a bit. But in this video, I'm not whispering to myself. I'm speaking to you. 😀👍🏻🎄🎄🎄

How beautiful the lights were. Around here everyone turns their Christmas lites off when they go to bed. I have a video to share on my channel of our Christmas and my parents Christmas lights, mom loves to decorate for all holidays. Her favs to decorate for are Christmas and Halloween. With as bad as our neighborhood watch is if I were out that early stopping in front of houses looking at the lights they would call the cops are sure lol..we live in a rural area deep in the hills of southeast Kentucky so people around here things anyone stopping in front of your house are on meth and going to rob ya and this area isn’t a high crime area at all lol..that is just how freaked out people get this way.
Yeah, I can imagine Amanda! Even here, someone might get concerned. 😄. I think I might have worried just a little bit if someone slowly drove by my house. But only if they lingered. 😄 I never got out in front of anyones house. I wouldn’t want to worry anyone. 😄. I did get out and walk around that one historic business building. Since finding out early November I have triple negative breast cancer I have gotten so behind on my sharing videos but I have been making some documenting my cancer journey but still have to get them edited and shared of my recent updates with chemo and all that but I have gotten behind and I hope to get caught up. Until then I am glad I have your channel and the other ASMR channels I watch. Thank you again for making these videos for us to enjoy. You truly inspire me to work more on my little ASMR channel 💕

what strikes me in the US is that houses don’t have shutters, contrary to most of the countries in Europe, I would be scared to don’t have ones lol
Yes! Shutters are mostly just ornamental here. We don’t need them because we now have sturdy, double paned windows. We use blinds fir privacy.
