      Mad Dog is a moron.
      MJ is the GOAT. It is crystal clear.
      What’s crazy is people trying to promote someone with 2 less titles and several less basketball awards over him cause he is Playing longer.
      Anyone disrespecting the MJ era of basketball just do t know. That includes JJ.
      Yea they have a lot of good players now.
      But Inserting todays players in that type of physical game would not be good.
      Same with bringing one of them here.
      We should just respect both eras and all the greats for what each of them did.

    The game Jokic played last night was about as perfect a performance as a basketball player I have had the pleasure of watching. Scoring 40, double digit assists, a couple of steals and blocks, along with no turnovers. He scored in every way imaginable and looked like no one on planet earth could stop him from doing what he wanted.
    Larry Bird used to talk about his “perfect game” and it was one no one may have picked to be his best. I think we may look back on this one as one of Jokic’s masterpieces that truly showed the his capabilities on the court.

      Nuggets have done some weird/amazing things in the past few years.
      Jokic had 3 different perfect shooting triple double games, and should pass Magic for 3rd on the all time list next year after passing Lebron for 4th this year. Also has I think around 80 "Sombor Triple Doubles" with 9 Assists or 9 Rebounds being just short of a normal triple double, which shows he isn't stat padding like Westbrook did.
      Nuggets had a game where they put up 98 points in the paint.(also were the only team with a winning record this year when losing the 3 point shooting battle)
      Murray got his first triple doubles, including the Jokic and Murray 30 point triple doubles in the same game in the finals for the first time in NBA history. Porter and Gordon have both flirted with triple doubles too on a few nights.
      They came back from 2 different 3-1 series in the bubble, and now a 2-0 going on the road comeback looks likely. So they know how to flip a switch.
      This team took all the steps and knows each other well, question will become who wants out first because KCP is up for a new deal and someone will likely pay him a lot to be their veteran starter and MPJ is getting into it with Malone over focus during the game so that might not last much longer either.

    Can people stop hating on Rudy? Jokic was doing triple pivot hooks, off foot early floaters, left handed fade hooks, off foot running layup with contact no glass, and etc. while Rudy was on him. Anytime he had Naz on him, he ducked into the rim right away, just one move, and scored. Anderson on the perimeter? Completely past him in one move. Kat? Maybe two moves in the post? This man has cooked Ayton, AD, Bam, Gobert, and let's be honest, Looney and Draymond too (he had no Murray/MPJ, took him about 1.5 games to figure them out). Jokic is on another level I haven't seen on offense. 32 years old, been following NBA as a kid heavily, watching games nonstop through 240p illegal streams all day back then, not even LeBron, Curry, or Kobe have been this level on offense.

    Jokic higher TS%, SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER ALL TIME THAN EMBIID AND MORE POINTS vs. better defenders his whole career in the postseason, and Richard wants to say Embiid is the best big man scorer? Stop it. Embiid is like Harden, as the series goes on, he is more and more figured out on the scoring. Jokic figures out how to attack his defender better and better. Jokic shoots nearly 40% from 3 in the playoffs, Embiid not even 30%. Embiid has been locked down by Horford many times, Jokic has made Bam/AD/Gobert look like mismatches. Embiid is great, but they don't compare as scorers; Jokic is clearly a level or two above in that department alone.

    • @ichirosuzuki2252
      @ichirosuzuki2252 Місяць тому +5

      I think Embiid is probably a better scorer considering how he was rolling earlier this year. The issue is that his passing is nowhere near Jokic's level, so team's can throw more at him without being punished as hard. And you could argue this makes Jokic a better scorer, but in terms of just 1 on 1, I think Embiid is a better scorer. And I am a huge Jokic fan

    • @AccordingSign32

    • @jcmaybenot
      @jcmaybenot Місяць тому +6

      @ichirosuzuki2252 Regular season scoring =/=post season scoring. Embiid has multiple postseason where he looked troubled against Horford....Jokic thoroughly dominates AD, Gobert, Bam, Ayton, Draymond, Looney, and etc. Man coverage or the double. Embiid doesn't have as reliable of a both 3pt and midrange jumpshot come postseason (Jokic is way higher in percentage he hits, and let's not act like Jokic isn't taking tough looks), and Jokic is much better in the post. Embiid does get to the line more, but he has way less counters to what defenses throw at him.

    • @ozberkoz
      @ozberkoz Місяць тому +3

    • @jcmaybenot
      @jcmaybenot Місяць тому +1

      @ozberkoz well this is a bit unfair to Embiid. That isn't something he can really control. Embiid's bigger problem is he doesn't quite know what to do against guys who are big enough to not just completely get destroyed on post ups (lower center of gravity guys), especially when the double comes. Early on defenders have to get use to his foulbaiting (most great scorers have this in their arsenal) and physicality, but he doesn't have adjustments once he gets adjusted to other than hoping for his jumper to be hot. He doesn't have the ability to scan the floor while attacking at the level other all time great playoff scorers do.

    "im glad he developed a bag."
    Very true.
    The AG story arc is very interesting. Never saw it coming. I was thinking hed be another Jeremie Grant but instead he was their Iguodala.
    Jokić is the brain, Jamal is the heart/passion but players and fans feel he is the soul of the team, which is why they call him Mr Nugget.
    Those 12 first games he played with Nuggets before Jamal missed time was like finding a treasure. But for the next two playoffs he had to be the number #2 scoring option next to Jokić and go back to his bag and that too forged a connection with Jokic that wouldn't have been as deep if Jamal and MPJ were playing.
    Finally last season we were able to see full time what those 12 first games showed could be possible except AG has so bought in totally into Jokić Ball that you see it when he plays backup 5 and decision making.
    He can get you 30pts or 12 rebounds or 10 assists and defense: whatever you need to win.
    It's a shame he might not win an individual award like all star or all defence but now, I think he'd easily trade those for more titles. Just like you expect a Mister Nuggets.

    The Joker MV3, Just 3 assists away from a TD, maybe the best performance in a playoff game ever! They created a MONSTER (media, wrong narratives etc..)! Minnesota coach tells they chose Joker to score in this game, to deny his creation, and he made 13 dimes with 0 turnovers on their heads "besides" 40p and, by now, traditional good defense (2st 1bl) in PO for +21. And yes, "DPOY" vs MV3! What a illusion, what a joke narrative :)
    If Jokic/Murray is the best duo in the NBA, Jokic/Gordon is the most enjoyable one - all the best that bball can provide!
    What a dominating game by Mr Nugget-AIR Gordon and Christian "White Mamba" Braun! Young blood has the heart of a champion and is slowly becoming an excellent two-way player, a perfect piece for the championship puzzle!
