    GOOD NEWS, This gate operator has been in service over year with the ZERO POINT ZERO return calls for warranty, service, etc.
    Also, we are planning to upgrade our field camera with better stabilization as well as just upgrading our in NLE video editing software which has improved video stabilization as well. Still not going to win any director awards but every little bit helps.
    Have you ever thought to yourself why more companies don't match the manufacturer's warranty when it comes to their labor? Or why some companies only offer limited labor warranties such as 90 days, 120 days or just one year.
    You just found the only company with part and labor warranties that start at 1126 days.
    The process of making two pieces of steel so hot, over 1500°, it liquefies and becomes one is called welding. This process sounds like it should make that joint pretty strong, right? So why do so many companies have limited guarantees on their welding craftsmanship?
    We have no idea either because you now have a company that’s one button away at, 214-931-2626, that offers a LIFETIME WELD WARRANTY.
    Have you ever had a service technician at your home or business that you were quite sure about? A gut feeling something was not quite right?
    Wouldn’t it be nice to have a government listed public database verifying sufficient criminal background check, records of fingerprints and photographs, any negative history against the technician or company, etc. You can take comfort knowing we are one of the few access control companies that is licensed by The State of Texas Private Security Program, B07351401, as an electronic access control company and a continuing education training school.
    So now that you discovered a state licensed, exceptionally qualified, insured, local expert, there’s just one question? When you need electronic access control service who are you going to call? Call 214-931-2626 so together we can design a safe and beautiful custom automatic gate! Save our number in your phone right now 214-931-2626.

      No, I never wondered why companies didn't match parts warranty with labor warranty. It's simple actually. Let's say LiftMaster has a major defect in one of their runs. Let's say that causes you 15 warranty calls. That's a bunch of labor you just ate for something that wasn't your fault. That's enough to put some guys in the red for a month or two.

    • @SafeguardControlsLLC
      @SafeguardControlsLLC  4 роки тому

      @Derek Huber, you're looking at it from the installers perspective. We base our warranty on what our customers want not what our competitors want.
      We know you're exaggerating when you suggest an access control product would have 15 warranty calls. However, how is that customers fault? Why should they held accountable for accepting your recommendations? The answer is they shouldn't.
      See the right thing to do is partner with manufacturers that have plans to compensate for this type of issue. We partner with manufacturers that have a proven track record of creating products that have a lower total cost of ownership.
      From your standpoint you think it's ludicrous to have a labor warranty that's over 1100 days like we do.
      From our standpoint we think it's ludicrous to have a 1 year warranty. Which would you pick as a consumer?
      If your someone like Derek and want the shortest warranty in the industry. DO NOT CALL US!
      If you want the longest labor warranty and the longest parts warranty all with the possibility to extend them, CALL US! 214-931-2626
      Let us know that "YOUR NO DEREK!".
      Thanks for the input Derek and if you would like to be interviewed for one of our podcasts to continue the discussion please let us know!

      Yes it does suck that our camerawork is not so great and we have changed that.

      We appreciate the kind words and remember that just because it's a thumbs down does not mean it ranks lower on UA-cam.

    Our liftmaster LA500 is making 3 beeps. We’re guessing a battery needs to be replaced but we couldn’t spot where it is. Is this an easy fix?

    • @SafeguardControlsLLC
      @SafeguardControlsLLC  Рік тому

      Wouldnt recommend the end user do it without expert training. With low batteries or damage/malfunction three beeps can be anything. It could be an obstruction.
      Three beeps on a LiftMaster LA500 gate opener typically indicate a gate travel limit issue. This can be caused by the gate hitting an obstacle or by the limit switches being out of adjustment. To resolve this issue, you can check for obstacles blocking the gate's travel and adjust the limit switches according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  • @xxZerosumxx

    Isnt the LA500 overkill for that small gate? Why couldn't the LA400 be used?

    • @SafeguardControlsLLC
      @SafeguardControlsLLC  3 роки тому

      Such a great point! We regularly install gate openers that can exceed the specifications of the gate. This way as the hinges, actuator arm (motor), environment, etc. changes we have plenty of "power" to operate the gate. This makes for a long gate life!!!

      Did you get a qualified technician to figure this out? Although I don't think they help end users with this type of problem here is information from Liftmaster's website
      "Refer to product manual for warranty terms. All return and warranty replacement requests should be placed by calling our Technical Support Center at 1-800-528-5880."

    Our fire department requires a Red emergency activation strobe light, I am using a csl24ul slide gate
    these are the requirements,
    1.
    All motorized gates must also be equipped with one flasher unit and one external lamp
    assembly with a red globe and guard to be mounted.
    2.
    The light shall be visible from both sides of the gate, be mounted at the top of the fence
    within two (2) feet of the gate opening and flash upon the gate being activated by the MFD
    Opticom™ compatible receiver platform system or Knox® Key Switch 3502 (mechanical key
    type).
    3.
    The strobe shall continue to flash as long as the gate is being held open by the emergency
    access system.
    Will you let me know how to connect the strobe light to the control board,
    Best regards,
    John Chacko

      That sounds like mixed requirements but the manual will have details to connect the control board to emergency ingress equipment.

    Clean work👏🏾How much does a job like this cost?

    • @SafeguardControlsLLC
      @SafeguardControlsLLC  Рік тому

      The cost to install a LiftMaster LA500 gate opener can vary depending on a number of factors, such as the type of gate, the complexity of the installation, and the location of the property. On average, the cost of a professional installation can range. It is best to contact a local gate opener professional to provide you with a more accurate estimate for your specific installation.

    Practice your welding, no excuse for welds that look like that. Powder coat contaminating your weld... zero excuse. Preparation of the metal is 90% of the weld. You had a flap disk, should have used it BEFORE the weld.
    Hope the brown paint was customer speced. I'd be beyond pissed if an installer painted the boxes and conduit. I'm sure the powder coasters loved having to deal with that as well.

    • @SafeguardControlsLLC
      @SafeguardControlsLLC  5 років тому

      With our 1126 PARTS AND LABOR WARRANTY our customer has been extremely happy. There have been ZERO POINT ZERO return calls. As usual.
      We have a LIFETIME WARRANTY ON OUR WELDS and no one has ever had to use it. Could you upload and link below your field welds to existing finished materials, link below.
      Paint, etc. does contaminate the welds and we recommend anyone installing a gate, prior to the gate operator or anything that will be welded in the field, keep that in mind. This customer had the gate installed by others before we installed the gate opener. However, as you know this does not jeopardize the strength or function of the weld in this application.
      The customer was VERY HAPPY with the conduit work and paint. They felt it blended perfectly with the fence. We don't see to many "powder coasters" in these parts. That's more one the gulf "coast". Thanks for your comments. Thumbs up here. Nice work: ua-cam.com/video/n-R1Smh14MI/v-deo.html

      We do these videos to attract new customers not teach technicians how to install gate openers. It would not meet our ethical standards to use UA-cam to teach end users about how to install these products. Qualified and trained professionals will use schools, like the one our president owns, manufacturers, and trade organizations to learn how to install these products.
      People who are looking for entertainment and general ideas come to UA-cam to watch these videos. So although your points are valid your comment of "Why bother?" Seems uninformed as to what these videos are. As stated in the description
      "We can use these videos as a general unscripted and unfiltered video blog. Safeguard Controls, LLC personnel are professionals and/or under the supervision of trained professionals. All service should be performed by professionals trained in the respective equipment. "
      It is disorganized and that's the beauty of live video! It is not scripted it is not filtered and at some honest look at what we do day in and day out.
      Although not for everybody, clearly not for you, people find value in these videos.
      Also, people find value in other people's opinion.
      We would love to interview you about your thoughts on this video any time. It would definitely be helpful to have a second point of view from another expert. The purpose of those interviews are again entertainment, not training, and to promote our services. Just like we had before we would love to continue to promote your business and awesome craftsmanship at www.peltzer.net. Keep the input coming as our potential customers and existing customers find value in other people's opinion.
      Reach out to us directly if you would like for us to help promote your video, company, etc. on one of our other national platforms.
      We hope to hear from you Eric thanks for your input. Let's keep the dialogue going
