fellow STEM students does this not give such gen chemistry lab vibes...both partners think the other knows what's going on, no one read the pre lab, Carly is the TA, and you just guess at what you're supposed to be doing
I'm not a STEM student but this effectively sounds like every class I had in highschool when we had a substitute. Just chaos and no one listens to anything. It ends in lots of arguing.
It was kinda upsetting but also really relatable. I wish it wasn’t caused by people being rude tho. For me it’s just my own brain, but it would be terrible to deal with if it was caused by people actually being mean
Yeah :( I hope she can put away those thoughts. I've noticed they both seem really anxious about other people's opinions and about doing something wrong but I've felt it's moreso to avoid controversies, but not eating (in a food stream!!) because you wanna look "skinny" is sad.

They should do what makes them happy and not worry too much. It obviously got really bad a year or two ago when they disappeared for months

The fawn response describes (often unconscious) behavior that aims to please, appease, and pacify the threat in an effort to keep yourself safe from further harm.
I like this format! it seems like saf and ty are having more fun and/or the chemistry is better. I like the little interspersed chats from Carly as well! 💕💕

But a lot of stuff on other channels are very scripted. But UA-cam is for entertainment so I don’t really see anything wrong with that.
I made the French Toast Sticks for my family on Thursday and the tip you guys gave about putting the bread in the Air fryer first then doing the egg mixture was the best thing ever. The sticks were a hit with the family.
My rabbits (who are named after Game of Thrones characters, Jorah and Brienne) got a very quick mention in this stream, and I'm way too excited about it. Definitely made my evening!

I did a destination wedding and ABSOLUTELY was feeling the vibe of “we are hoping very few people attend” 🤷🏻♀️we just wanted to have fun though. We had like 30 guests
I kind of understand the point of a destination wedding and have a small one with the people closest to you. But why need the feeling the "very few people arrive" instead of just inviting the people closest to you in the first place for your destination wedding... We, for example, had a local wedding. We wanted to have a relatively small event, so we invited only 100 close guests, to our wedding.
@@nitsannachtom6660I think some people are kinda obligated, for personal or cultural reasons, to invite a lot of people especially extended family, so this might be a passive way of kind of weeding out the people you don't really want to come without directly offending anyone or starting beef. Because then it's less you didn't invite them and more like they made the 'decision' to not come. That's the vibe I got anyway lol
Love the relaxed feel and vibes of this stream without the chat harassing you guys 😅 but sucks that you have to go on the equivalent of a diet because people can't mind their own business
This stream does remind me that I should look into getting an airfryer for my kitchen as me moving out become a very very real possibility that might happen soon-ish. Also, I am fully in favor of you guys just moving into Matpat and StephPats house. With or without consulting them first I'm not sure if that matters as long as you film the shenanigans. That's probably be loads of fun to see. :D And I enjoy the super chaotic nature of these streams because nothing ever seems well prepared. It seem like you guys are just thrown into a room with vague instructions on what to do and Carly is the only person who knows what the plan is before the throws you on stream.
We have the double ninja air firer and it’s great. Not necessarily faster than oven, but way crunchier. And I just pop the basket and stuff in the dish washer, haven’t cleaned the actual thing yet though. Pizza Bites(Rolls) in there is FANTASTIC.
As someone who was lucky enough to actually meet Matt Smith, I can attest to the presence of his eyebrows lol they’re just light coloured and right under the edge of his brow bone 😂 He is also super lovely and sweet!

So maple syrup is huge... and wow. One of the, if not the, biggest heists in Canada was maple syrup. Maple syrup gets made and then stored for a long time in barrels. So you aren't getting the latest season's supply. The heist worked by emptying barrels and filling them back up with lack water. The company didn't know they were stolen from until those barrels were in rotation.if I remember correctly the stolen syrup was worth around 18 million CAD

I’ve noticed that you mention a lot of horror movies in your obscure references, and as a fellow Meaty, I want you to know, I get them! It would be great if you could collaborate one day. I just rewatched the popcorn making part, but at ×0.25 speed. 1. Need to make this a video, but with higher speed camera (it is blury with the regular one). Great content! So satisfing!!! The real risk with Maple Syrup is if it goes moldy or crystallizes like honey sometimes does. Otherwise, you should be good to go! Because syrup season is only at the beginning of spring, as sap flow depends on the rapid thaw of spring. If you get it from a farm you buy in bulk and make it last the year. Hope this helps! ☺️👍

My friends had a local wedding (not a destination wedding) but they didn't want many to attend so they only gave people 3 weeks notice (except a few family who got months of notice) when invited. They had few people attending, but no one could complain about not being invited (they had a lot of extended family, friends and colleagues they felt obligated to invite).

You asked what we think of Byron Baes and as a Byron area local I had to check it out out of morbid curiosity and my summary is: HORRIFYING lol. I haven't been to Byron in many years even though my family lives 40 mins away and I feel validated in that choice. The show itself is so ridiculously removed from regular life there (not that regular people can actually afford to live in Byron anymore) but with the release date being literally a week after the catastrophic floods that destroyed almost every other minor or major town in the whole region (and half the state)... It's in hugely poor taste 😬 I have to wonder how many of those "elites" pitched in to help...
32:53 to 33:25 really made me sad. I was glad to see the chat being so sweet, but it hurt my heart that Saf was worried about eating too much because of people’s nasty comments and assumptions. I could tell Tyler wanted to disagree with her comment about not eating too much but likely didn’t want to invalidate her feelings about it. What people MIGHT think about us is harmful on a normal day, I can’t imagine seeing what they actually think in comments.

When I started wearing my new glasses the floor looked a little warped and I got dizzy. The instructions said to start slowly with a couple hours per day. I day a couple more each day and after a week I didnt even notice.
Tyler I have the same problem with my glasses even though they are the same prescription as my contacts if I switch back and forth they make me dizzy and make the world almost look weird! Anyway just saying I feel your pain! Glad you are better.

You asked what we think of Byron Baes and as a Byron area local I had to check it out out of morbid curiosity and my summary is:
HORRIFYING lol. I haven't been to Byron in many years even though my family lives 40 mins away and I feel validated in that choice. The show itself is so ridiculously removed from regular life there (not that regular people can actually afford to live in Byron anymore) but with the release date being literally a week after the catastrophic floods that destroyed almost every other minor or major town in the whole region (and half the state)... It's in hugely poor taste 😬 I have to wonder how many of those "elites" pitched in to help...

32:53 to 33:25 really made me sad. I was glad to see the chat being so sweet, but it hurt my heart that Saf was worried about eating too much because of people’s nasty comments and assumptions. I could tell Tyler wanted to disagree with her comment about not eating too much but likely didn’t want to invalidate her feelings about it. What people MIGHT think about us is harmful on a normal day, I can’t imagine seeing what they actually think in comments.
There are now liners like coffee filters or parchment paper to line air fryers to save on cleanup.
I personally think the chat being off table feels better, you guys dont seem so worried about appearances, you are just being natural

When I started wearing my new glasses the floor looked a little warped and I got dizzy. The instructions said to start slowly with a couple hours per day. I day a couple more each day and after a week I didnt even notice.
That moody ”I’m making myself a sandwich! ☹️” is me all the time 😂
Tyler I have the same problem with my glasses even though they are the same prescription as my contacts if I switch back and forth they make me dizzy and make the world almost look weird! Anyway just saying I feel your pain! Glad you are better.
