- In this video we are finally painting our van home big Bez!
PAINTING OUR CAMPERVAN WITH A ROLLER! Yes, We attempt to tackle her rust and blemishes ourselves and turn her into the camper van of our dreams!
After one year of owning Bez and turning her into our home on wheels we couldn’t wait to give her a DIY PAINTJOB from the start!
So we used cheap paint, rollers and some spray paint to transform her completely!

We purchased our paint from a local car paint shop to our home town, however this was the paint we was originally going to use which is exactly the same just a different brand. The Amazon listing also gives you the recommended thinners.

This is SO familiar I have got exactly the same van and had rust spots in exactly the same classic spots and even dents in the same corner. Just roller painting mine now.

I did a paintbrush job on mine. Berger metal paint I love it.
Can’t beat a DIY job we think!! It’s the best way to go especially when you’re driving through tight lanes and scraping against bushes and trees 🤣 - we often say how gutted we’d be if we paid for a spray. It’s just not practical if you’re living and travelling in it full time we think! 🚐

Very Nice paint job mate. I didn't understand what kind of painting you were using and what was this ratio 1 to 3 you were talking about. Please could you explain?
Hey thanks mate! The ratio was 3 to 1 paint to thinners… for example if you was using 300ml of paint add 100mm of thinners 🤙🏻

When it get dirt on it is it easy to clean off?
How do you find parking at the supermarket with a large van? I'm thinking of getting a sprinter your see.
To be honest it’s not too bad!! As long as it’s not super busy you can usually park in a double space (two spaces one in front of the other) or we park at spaces at the back where there’s a curb behind and some grass meaning we can reverse the van all the way back with the tires on the curb and our back hanging over 😁👍🏻 if all else fails we usually have to park a little further down the road and walk in! Hope that helps 😁🚐👍🏻
