- Hao's only hope is that his grandson Mark enters a prestigious university, but Mark's dream is to follow in his grandfather's footsteps and become a chef and take over the family restaurant. Due to Hao's difficult personality, the restaurant is on the verge of bankruptcy and he finally collapses. In order to save the restaurant, Mark enters a cooking contest without his grandfather's knowledge and consent in Shanghai. He competes against talented chefs from Japan, Korea, and Australia, and freely shows off the ravishing cooking skills that he has accumulated from his grandfather over the years. As Mark wins round after round and gains attention, Julia, the contest producer notices something peculiar about him, then slowly realizes that Mark and her husband David resemble each other.

Korea & China.He was still v.young in this movie. You can also watch him in A Dog's Journey tht came out a few yrs ago.

Wow this movie is good but with a little twist of comedy and I like it. The story is also fine and it tells about a persons passions for cooking,father/son bonding and also the love of the father to he’s son whom he taught died in a fire accident. I was touched when the father found out that the person he’s competing with is he’s own son,and finally reunited with he’s beloved son. The actor who played mark in the movie is very familiar to me, he’s one of the famous Korean actor and I cannot pinpoint he’s name?. Anyways nice movie so far for me..👍👍
