i feel like it is not mentioned enough that th average rookie in traditional sports is 21 or 22 with 10+ years team sports and coaching experience. the average LCS rookie is 16 or 17, with no experience with teammates or coaching. i often wonder how much help it would be to increase the age limit of LCS to 18, drop academy to 15 and use it as a "college" style league for everyone to learn what being on a team is before they hit LCS
I don't think that changing the age limit to 18 would help. You have academy players that have been there for years, and they still fail to develop when they hit a chance to compete in the LCS. I think you're in the right track, but i see the issue related more to the inmaturity of the coaching scene rather than the amount of coaching exposure the players have
@@Diego-km2qr very true. in traditional sports you are almost always coached by an older figure. someone who is at least a generation above you. someone in their early twenties will not have the same dynamic as when u see a 60 year old man who coached your dad as well.

The main issue is the absence of experience in dealing with complicated young players that act as kids their age usually act (with some exceptions). As the scene grows, we'll hopefully be able to see complicated rosters with "Toxic" players in their core being successful.
Nah most LCS rookies gotta go through academies and amateurs before and they're always like 20 yrs old when they make it to the LCS. The whole college style thing is dumb because its gonna hold back NA even more. Europe has their ERLs and Chinese & Korean rookies actually start at 17. No import will ever wanna come to NA if they use that college nonsense.

Criticism and stating fact is labeled as toxic, any time someone's feefees are hurt they cry toxicity to discredit you, just like many other words in the social media era. I'm a big fan of Odo. He has a rare balance between competitiveness and maturity that makes him exceptional. Regardless of his results as a player, this guy is going to shine in the esports scene even after retirement.

He had some pretty good stats and some of the best stats in NA during his time here. Even though he was on the worst team at one point. But sadly there were massive issues on that roster ideration"s". Even while on 100T he was still preforming better then most AD in the league. Heck even on EG he was preforming fine aswell. Now bangs most recent split in the LCK during spring 2021 he looked amazing was still one of the best preforming players in the league and if not the best preforming player on AF. With that said Leo is a monster in his own right I have been following him sense his t ime on T1 Academy he has extreme potential but that still has nothing to do with what they are talking about in the video.

He also had them play different champions and subbed them in and out mid series. He wasn't benching faker and saying you aren't going to play on the main team anymore.
