You can take it to any regular watch store to get the battery replaced, doesn't have to be a special Kronaby dealer I believe. You make fantastic videos. Great camera work, editing, and whole presentstion....up there with the best on YT.

I personally love hybrid watches because I think smartwatches look ugly (Apple watch). I Dont need another smartphone on my wrist but rather an apparel extension of my phone. looks good and gets the job done

It looks great, but it costs more than a Withings Activité and does much less. It seems comparable to a Skagen Connected which is not only significantly cheaper, but personally I also like their designs even more. I'm not really convinced of connected watches that display information though cryptic hand positions (I don’t think they are good enough at all compared to smartwatches), but in any case the price definitely kills this watch in my opinion.
Speaking of water resistance: you've timidly sprayed it with the water... I've recently drowned my Kronaby Sekel in 3 meters deep river. They spent 4 days there on the bottom and today I finally found them on the the bottom(this took me half an hour or so). They were showing correct time and once I took them out of water they've connected to to the phone perfectly without any fog on the watch face. Perfect watch for me.
mrduck97 To be honest, I don't really use the fitness tracking so I couldn't give you an accurate comparison. But I'd assume that they are all probably pretty equal in quality these days.
Great video, I have a Kronaby Sekel too in the same spec. Looks the same as yours although mine has silver hands and yours appears to be black? I also get the mechanical sound when the hands move for notifications. Overall I love the watch and I'm definitely happy I bought it

asher bloom Honestly, they are both great. Kronaby is much nicer and works great with both Android and IOS, but it's very expensive. Fossil is not as fancy but has more notification options and is much cheaper in price. It's just a preference thing.

Functionality seems to be too similar to the Fossil hybrid watch that you reviewed at 2+ times the price.. What do you prefer between the 2 watches then?
Jansen Tong It is similar. Honestly, it's a toss up for me. Kronaby is much better quality and plays nicely with IOS but is far more expensive. Fossil is much cheaper in price but also is made of cheaper material and doesn't play as nicely with IOS.

On the Kronaby website it says "Exchange your battery at a Kronaby retailer or your favorite watch shop." So it doesn't have to be at a Kronaby retailer.
Apparently the Swedish company went bust and these watches are now made in Spain with Chinese parts. They still say Sweden on the face as it sounds better.
IMO too expensive. I was barely sold on the Fossil Hybrid Q on sale at $95. Hybrid watches are interesting, but not very useful. I really dont need a watch hand to tell me I got an email, when emails have a specific tone assigned to it. Etc. At this price I would just get a normal analog watch and call it a day.
When your battery is running low, you will get a battery warning in your app. Exchange your battery at a Kronaby retailer or your FAVORITE watch shop. Key thing is that the shop pressure tests your watch’s water resistance after the battery has been replaced. Use only Kronaby certified batteries such a the Panasonic CR3032. There are two kind of “3032” batteries i.e.CR3032 and BR3032. Please do not use BR3032 batteries. You can most certainly change the battery yourself. Looks like a standard watch case back tool would work.

I contacted them and they said "It depends on a store you visit but it could be between EUR 25 to EUR 45".
