Personnel:
Deborah Harry - vocals, maracas
Chris Stein - guitar
Frank Infante - guitar
Jimmy Destri - keyboards
Nigel Harrison - bass
Clem Burke - drums
Summary:
This Blondie footage really captures the breakthrough era - right after "Parallel Lines" but prior to "Eat To The Beat," although they are beginning to unveil that material. Deborah Harry in prime vocal form and cute as can be. Clem Burke's manic drumming at its best.
This is an epic performance

Sorry anti drug tune
i doubt it since the band did plenty of drugs and they talk about cars throughout. sounds like they're trying to disguise it as my gastank is "on E". and towards the end when she starts referencing the drug, she says the lyrics really fast to hide it even more.
LOL you do realize that "anti drug" means against drugs right? It's about her 67 Camaro that she finally had to get rid of because it would only go in reverse so she gave it to some guy (I'm guessing his name was Vinnie, lol) to drive it off a cliff because she couldn't afford to fix or get rid of it properly.
@@n3rds3y3vi3w There was no Ecstasy drug back then btw. She wasn't referencing drugs at all.
@@Floridafanatic28 okay I laughed too hard when I read about ditching the car 🤣🤣 poor car
Ant ecstasy tune, don't do it!
Nope. It's not. It's about her 67 Camaro that she finally had to get rid of because it would only go in reverse so she gave it to some guy (I'm guessing his name was Vinnie, lol) to drive it off a cliff because she couldn't afford to fix or get rid of it properly.
