as a discard enjoyer the America Chaves nerf killed tradional discard. I love the card because its a solid replacement for wolverine.
I'm personally still loving traditional modok discard with proxima's addition
Here's what I did: I took traditional Apoc Discard and replaced Hell Cow with Corvus and Wolverine with Proxima. So now I get to do the same thing but stronger with more expensive cards. Powercreep 101.

Loki discard deck with corvus+proxima is the way to go in my testing. Really strong, fun and varied games.

i have a very different kind of hela discard deck that uses proxima. i use hela solely as a safety net to a highly aggressive discard style that doesn’t use target discard cards. she’s used to bring back my morbius, dracula, modok mainly but really anything like gambit, stature, black bolt are all good hits for power and disruption. i’ve played about 35-40 matches with the deck and have a 53% win rate. people snap into it like crazy because they think im just discarding my whole play away

I actually lowkey think that this discard deck will be one of the leading meta decks going forward. Idk why i have that feeling.
Yes since everyone just Netdecks for the new cards
Proxima is like Annihilus + Sentry + Hood (20 for 5), but simply weaker. Proxima + Samurai (12 for 4) or Colleen (11 for 2), just surprise stats on the last turn of the game. Proxima + Lady Sif (12 for 3) could work in Beast Bounce.
Annihilus is better because if they have galactus the automatically win if they clogged you enough
Well... She is okayisch. If you got Corvius, get her. Long time ago I had so much fun with standard discard.
Was also lucky to pull this and last spotlight with only one key. OK, before you call me lucker, I needed to skip Cull be Use the previous spotlights, I needed always 4 keys.
My luck is rigged, I litteraly don't know what pulling in less than 4 caches is :/
But I get inked splits in 4/5 splits on average, got 20 of them without being a whale, so I guess it's fine 🤣

Discard sucks right now. I could see discard being competitive if lockjaw gets a nerf. That said so will 4-5 other decks. Next week when Hope Summers comes out Sera Surfer may be in the meta talk again.

@@joedoe7572 We will see what the meta does. Will be much harder for Hela, and Thanos to auto win now. Though I don't think they nerfed Lockjaw enough for those decks to go completely away. Personally I would have made it so Lockjaw cycled only the next card played.
