Story 1: I'd be incredibly concerned about the FIL's cognitive decline if he's not fallen for scams like this until his current age (older). Scams have been around for hundreds of years, and phone scams have been around for at least three decades. Yet this is the first time he's fallen for one? and he didn't learn from the first scam, and instead fell for another obvious scam? It doesn't sound like he's just an ignorant or incompetent fool, but rather he may be having cognitive issues, especially forward planning, and consequences for his actions. If he was my FIL or father I'd want him to undergo dementia and other cognitive testing.

First Story: “A fool and his money are soon parted.”
Last Story: I think that by law OP’s dad as his boss is supposed to reimburse his employees for work expenses done in furtherance of their job duties. What that dad is doing cannot be legal. OP should report his dad to the state labor board and sue his dad for any money owed to him if applicable.
Story 3 - it's not an "accident" when she keeps doing it. OP repeatedly asked her to stop putting things on his laptop, it breaks and then she says it was an accident? Oh please. Of course, it begs the question, my was OP leaving his laptop out knowing she puts stuff down on it all the time?
Even if it is an accident, she did something stupid and broke it, she needs to replace it.

Condo story: just go to your grandma's and start criticizing her stuff. Doesn't matter how clean it already is. Just keep giving uneccessary feedback. Small stuff too. Like how there's wipe steaks on the mirrors, of how towels don't seem washed enough. Subtly say how the house smells like sewage or feces. Maybe talk about how the carpet/hardwood feels sticky. Go through her cabinets and talk about how disorganized everything is. When she barks back at you and says how rude you're being. That's when you let it all out. Tell her how she feels right now, is how you feel every time she visits and criticized your home.
