Ohhhh yeah. That's what I am talking about. We do the exact same thing and add it to everything from eggs, stews, chilies, tacos and burritos. Good stuff there my friend. Love your videos.

*Thanks for all your support on my videos Chris! Yeah the sausage is really versatile when I was a kid my mom would make a pot of beans with ham hocks, and brown the sausage in the cast-iron pan my dad liked it a little crispy, and he wanted his bacon cooked so done that if you dropped it in the play it would shatter into 1 million pieces. I never liked bacon when I was a kid. I didn’t start liking it until I was old enough to cook my own bacon ha ha!*

@@CastIronCooking of course! I’m really happy that I’ve grown my skills in cooking (don’t know how to properly word that sorry). The video is old but it made me food that I actually felt like eating. Since I’m home alone all day I’ve messed up my sleep schedule and I don’t eat much in the day, but your method of cooking kielbasa as made me cook all sausages like that now (I don’t know it that’s good). It means a lot to me that a video such as this is getting me to eat, even if it’s very little. Thank you so much, again.

Yesss...kielbasa is my top three sausage. (Although I prefer beef)
You literally can’t screw it up...play with cooking techniques. Grilled or smoked is great...if you want to cut the grease, boil in beer and onions before you sear. Perfect meat to experiment with, cuz you’ll never be disappointed

Please let us know where you get your kielbasa, including the variety (if you have choices). I found out that there are several varieties of kielbasa, and now that I live in California, I can't find the one I grew up with. Having had only that one kind, I'm not an expert: All I know is that (1) it had the dark red skin like yours in this video, and (2) it's really hard to find, and (3) I really, really want that kind. I would love if you could help.
