I had a collection of my favourite beads.
I was randomly checking some black metal bracelets on Amazon.
Something that looks like this caught my attention.
Later started to search more about it because the 'evil's eye' is just amazing.
And found out that is the name of this bead.
I have this one in my collection. Not in a good spherical shape but a bit oval

Not sure how thick nylon string is, but I used 1.5mm Chinese knot wire and it seems very delicate and thin to me.
