I think Lamborghinis are AMAZING looking. So here's my idea: make a Cadillac version of the C8 with the blackwing engine. The more angular caddie styling would make it look more like a Lamborghini and that would blow my mind and I'd buy like 3 and my wife and kids would leave me.

@@marnuscoreyempanadaslooseb6760 The 911 is, at its core, a performance car. Always was. In fact, it’s one of the fastest cars you can get without exceeding $200,000. Japan has all these small, lightweight, and affordable sports cars because cars are taxed depending on their dimensions. Being an affordable car in Japan doesn't just mean being cheap to buy, it also means being as small as legally possible. That's how you get fast kei cars.
No Boxters?! Yes, they’re more expensive to maintain, but if you buy a used late 90’s/early 2000’s one in decent shape for $20k and keep another $10k or so in reserve for repairs and upgrades, they’re a lot of Porsche-vibe fun.

True, but you have to put it in perspective. Aston Martin Cygnet (rebadged Toyota IQ) was not for the masses. Corvette, even though it is more expensive, the intent is to sell it to as many people as possible.
TopCars, you could probably buy any three of the other cars on your list for the price of one C8. GM would love to sell every C8 they build, but they don't have the production capacity at the Corvette plant to build a car for everyone.

Before haters start "flaming" the Fiero with "YeaH BuT It CaTchES FirE Durr hurr!" .. That was less than 1% of 84's, due to a bad batch of con-rods and owner error. The duke is a heavy lump of a 4-banger and it does not like redline. But driven and maintained reasonably, it will last damn near forever.
