Sorry about Tina. Y'all gave her several wonderful years, and a lot of love. It's easy to guess a lot of livestock don't get the "together to the end" promise yours do.
I learned from having my first dog snoring at the foot of my bed, for six months AFTER we'd freed her from her body, that the spirit goes on, for all of us.
I'm sure Tina and Lady A are enjoying the best pasture they've ever had and catching up on how things are going for their humans. They'll run to meet you all at the Rainbow Bridge, and thank you for the love and kindness they were shown by the Doss family.
Rae, I know we all grieve differently, but I told you about Bambi hoping it would comfort you. It certainly comforted me at the time and strengthened my belief that nothing utterly vanishes, the soul just begins our next journey back to Heavenly Father. Warm hugs, from South Dakota.
Kudos to you Chad for once again stepping up and protecting Rae and her feelings over the loss of one of her babies. I am sure glad Tina got to be on the new farm and Rae got to ease her way out of this life. Big hugs to a big hearted woman, who gives her best to all her boys and fur babies.

Tina was so lucky to have spent her time with you. I think it was a comfort for Rae being with Tina when she left this world. Rae will always remember she was there to stroke Tina’s fur and speak softly to her. Like people, I hate when a beloved animal dies when no one is with them 😢.

I’ve raised animals for almost 50 years and grew up with dogs before that. The bad part is that under the best of circumstances, we live longer than they do. It hurts my heart everytime one of my pets passes on. I pray for you and your family as you go through this loss. 🙏❤️🙏

Shed some tears while you were talking about Tina!! There is a special place in Heaven that our Heavenly Father put aside for our animals when they cross the Rainbow Bridge. I have two horses and 5 little Boston Terriers that are waiting on there Momma to join them. I will pray for you and your family regarding the loss of Tina.

NOT really "farmin" Chad. Farmin farmers usually do NOT know all their animals personally, each and every one. And they do not have a close personal connection to each and every one of them. Mebbe the yard dog and a couple cats but never all the live stock too. They don't know em all by name. And the animals do not know THEM personally either. You guys all have a beautiful two way connection that is much more than a "farmin" connection. It is something very precious and beautiful. And it is something that hurts when one of your friends gets hurt. The bad side of loving!! What the Doss family has here is a VERY special connection with some VERY special animals. It is above and beyond "farmin". And it carries an emotional connection that goes deep into your heart. It is a beautiful blessing most people will never experience. Thank YOU for blessing us by sharing it with us. I appreciate that.
Not true my uncle knows every cows name he has way more then Doss farms. Yes he talks to them because they never judge and they keep the conversation between the two of them... call it rancher/farm therapy

We poured some concrete one time and was going put my granddaughters footprints in it. We had a little bucket for her to wash her feet in. She was about two years old. She was standing there in the bucket after we put her footprints at the end of it, and then she just stepped out of the bucket and walked up one side of it across to the ofter side and down the ofter side and stepped back in the bucket. All of them footprints are still it.

It is so hard when we lose a beloved animal, whether it is one we have been blessed with for many years or few. Many of us have walked that path and know how you all are feeling. Just as we share the joy when you get a new critter, we also share the sorrow when one passes to greener pastures. We know you and Rae give them the best life they can have for the time God has them be a part of your life. The nice thing I’ve found is that our God has given us big hearts, that, yes, sometimes break, but they heal and open for us to bring in another animal to again share that love. God bless you all during this time.

I am sorry for the loss. Yes it is a part of farming but it still hurts. My prayers for you all. I understand that you all are Christians so I am going to ask that you all pray for my community. This is a rural area in West Virginia and we are in the throes of major brush fires throughout four counties. Over a 1000 acres so far. Many homes, farms, pastures, and forests have been lost.
My goodness, and its only March, fire can destroy so much, so very fast, prayers for you & all who have lost livelihoods, homes, so very much as you grieve, then try to see a way forward

We called them cement trucks. I’ve always been confused about cement and concrete.
As far as I can tell, the big difference is that concrete has bits in😅 so more strength and harder wearing, cement is the basic stuff that gets mixed with the sand for putting bricks together, then add different grades of grit/ gravel etc for more purposes. Making cement is very energy intensive

I only know what I've seen on the videos in the last few months since I joined your subscribers, and yet I have huge tears in my eyes and a huge lump in my throat for poor Tina. I feel you guys pain. Chad I’m so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful alpaca,Tina… there are no words to say…as you said farm life has its good days but it also has its bad days and this is one of those bad days. Loved watching Adler and Rae in the side by side laughing at you when you were on the tractor filling water and putting out a bale of hay for the animals!!! The concrete pour looks great!! Loved that all of you were able to put your hands, name and date in it before it dried! Continued prayers for you,Rae, Case, Carter and that sweet precious Adler… please remember my husband in your prayers…he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s the last part of 2023 … he’s beginning to show a few more different symptoms of the disease…he’s fallen several times recently and sometimes he has a hard time speaking… he’s only 73… thank you for all that your family does to help make the days better and more beautiful for this grandmama and granddaddy…we love y’all ❤️❤️❤️

Fred and June and Tessie were Chad’s Highlands. Tessie got aggressive and was relocated. Fred passed last year or late 2022 and we were so hopeful Frank would be his son. It was not meant to be.
