I played it back in the day when I heard it had multiple endings based on character trust/relationship, so I wanted to push that, so I picked one of the characters most likely to have plot armor, which at the time happened to be Botang, the reason is because they known each other for most of their lives and were best friends, so I would bully him to see if the story would change, and boosted all the trust with all others. I can't remember exactly all their fates, but I remember having a pretty loyal squad until the very end, Botang betrayed me and allied with the enemy in the final boss, while Fae fought with me side-by-side against the final boss. There's a lot of experimentation to do with the trust system, that British jerk was very friendly after I maxed out his trust meter, I think the next one I'll bully will be Fae since the game pushes you to have a romance with her (which I did) to make her reveal more impacting, I also want to max out everyone to see what the good ending looks like as well
To get the best ending you have to max out Cain. I believe that can only be done on survivor. I was close but I wasn’t able to max him out. I got the second best ending twice. Thanks for checking out the video.
I beat it pretty quickly the first time I played it. I don’t remember if I tried the online when it was live. It would’ve been nice to get some single player dlc.
It’s super cheap. Definitely worth a play through. I think the reviews hurt it. The one that I read made it seem like the game was meh. Turns out he just sucked at the game. It takes a bit to get used to the aiming though.
I can still play this on steam but played it on the 360 first. I've beaten like 5 times but never got the perfect ending 😒 Super fun game though, glad it hasn't been forgotten.
I beat it years ago. I forgot it was in my ps3 hard drive. It was more fun on survivor. The game sends more robots your way instead of lowering your health. Such a great game. Thank you for checking out the video. I didn’t get that ending either😂
This game was awesome when it came out. I was already a fan of Yakuza since Yakuza 3 in 2009 and fell in love with it, then played the old ps2 games by the time Binary Domain came out and have been a fan of nearly every entry they've released. Minus the psp ones and Kenzan! never had access. I become such a huge fan just before the series almost went dormant to the west the second time with 5. I bought the ps4 to continue on and import Ishin! sucked to have to play the game through an english fan translation guide but hey, I did it. To think I built my P.C. a year early to be able to Play Sim City 2013 and to never buy that trash and spend more time shooting robots.
I’m sorry about sim city. I think we were all let down by that one. I own most of the yakuza series, but I haven’t beaten any of them. I really liked the first like a dragon. I just got stuck on a boss battle.
I played Vanquish first, which I still consider to be one of the best games on the xbox 360. I remember this game being very similar in art and concept, i'm not sure if they are though. Anyway I had a nostalgia flash about this game (had it in some form or another back then, but didn't actually play it) and I got the PC version like a year so ago. It was ok, not as good as vanquish.

Will forever be one of my favorite PS3 games, so underrated.

This game felt like more of a tech demo than a fully finished game. The robot destruction is still unmatched!
I remember really enjoying the demo, but I never pulled the trigger on buying the whole game.
