I’ve heard a lot worse actually. Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins, for example. Quite a cringy one here in the UK. One of the best imitations of a British accent by an American is Robert Downey Jr in Sherlock Holmes. Chip’s British accent is a lot better than the guy narrating the audio book I’m currently listening to. The one in this audio book is just painful!
The change between his serious face before cutting to Ryan, then, when it cuts back to Chip, you can see him holding in laughter is freaking hilarious.

The best line in this is Ryan's play on Drew's letter error when later he refers to "Tony's miscue" which is a spectacular improvised pun for using letter names as final syllables on made up words to rhyme with real words and yet mis-Q is a real word. Genius!

The best ones was his reaction for when he fucks up. Haha
An unpopular opinion, but even though Drew was the money behind bringing this show to the U.S. he really diminishes the quality of the show. Monty Python knew he was better behind the scenes. The other performers are skilled at their craft only honed after years of study...and he sadly is not. He can be funny in other circumstances, like The Drew Carey Show. He's just never been quite quick enough to keep up with the other guys, at least on stage.
