The fact that for a big part of my life I ignored my passion for being an artist, making music and being a dj, when I found myself in the hospital bed 2 years ago I promised myself I will, no matter what I will follow my passion. I failed myself the moment I suppressed my creativity. Don't you ever do that to yourself!
In selling my agency one piece of paperwork I failed to sign cost me £10k. Once I’d paid it back I knew I could bounce back from any financial mistake as I promised myself to get that back in my rainy day fund within 6 months and achieved it within 3.
I'm looking forward to your comeback! You can do it! Find joy in the experience living and the exploring of what this dark time can show you. There is light, for there to be shadows.
@@justmyopinion4938feel the same now. 20yo, unemployed, still living with parents and can’t confess to the girl of my life due to all that. Anyway I’ll keep working to create better background than I got now for myself in the future
I needed to see this. I have worked as an LPN for 30 years and feel a failure for not becoming an RN, although I tried in the last few years. I am a great nurse and truly care for others. I help people. I am not a failure. I am finding my way back from a deep depression. I MATTER.
One of the best videos I've seen covering this topic. I made $2M at 26 years old and lost most of it by 29 being dumb. 30 now & on the comeback but man has it been a struggle mentally lol. Partly because I tied my confidence to financial success.
I internalized fear, failure, not knowing and criticism. Little did I know all these were meant teach me to push harder, learn to trust in myself and go after what I needed to learn and don’t stop. To add insult to injury I believed them until I didn’t and don’t. You shared your challenges and are sharing your experiences to help others. Thank you. I wish I heard your words decades ago. Thank you for sharing and saying out loud what we all need to hear.
Thanks.. my life is a lot easier than a lot of people have to deal with but I've been through stuff that still troubles me every day and nearly beat me a few times so it's really nice of you to say these things about tough times to have some good perspective on tough times thanks
Love the reply from the farmer, maybe, maybe not. Growth mindset is about being detached from the outcome. Thanks Simon for always challenging our mind to feed with new thoughtful questions to know ourselves better. 1. Who must I become to have what I want. 2. What is this teaching me. 3. What is the opportunity here.
I really love your video about life. In life, the failure is an event not identity. There is no beautiful roses everyday. We have many challenges. The reality is we are resilient and we don’t give up easily if our dream or desire is bigger than distractions/negative emo/failure. We need to shift our perspective. Ask the right questions who do we want to become? Clarity is power!
Wow, what a post, Simon. Having a healthy relationship with failure. Having clarity of the person you want to become and being able to operate from that.
Have you done a video on how to get through suffering? I’m 31 and was diagnosed with a chronic eye disease which has changed my life in every way. Any advice would be amazing.
Thank you so much for this it feed my soul. Loved the ego examples and couldn’t agree more. Also during those hard times can mean that you have been planted 🤦🏾♀️!! ✌🏾
Thank you! Info on events I’m speaking at will be shared in the community tab and across my other social media platforms and newsletter as they get confirmed 🙌
It’s a powerful one on how we get to choose what an event or experience means to us. No one reality, only customised realities driven by our thoughts 🙌

Some of our best lessons are learned from failures, "life is working for you, not against you." Love this quote.

I’m always a student of life and forever will be. Imagine if you’re a master, then there is nothing left to learn. It will just get boring.
