criss crossed 2×8's sandwiched between 1 1/4" plywood with rope handles are handy for quick set up..I worked 47 years in drilling and company started in 1922...still going strong..sold it six years ago...good video..thanks!

I work in the oil field. On our older truck rigs. Talk your out rigger blocks and nail a piece of 1” plywood on top of them to make a solid pad. Set your out rigger down and center your pads. Get you a welder and have home make you a Z bracket and screw them to the pad and weld them to the out rigger shoe. It’s permanently attached and you’ll never have to fool with it again...now that I saved your back, how about a discount on a well I need drilled. Lol jk

Alot of times youll drag your outriggers getting into places and need all the clearence you can get
