I am born and raised and currently still live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and I am pretty damn sure I can say I speak for everyone here when I say I'm sure glad we dodged this frigging bullet!
I just heard that the hurricane is 150 miles from Florida and is stationary. I'm not a hurricane expert by any means but isn't it too soon to know if the bullet has been dodged?
I'm kinda tired of people comparing Reed's style of of storm chasing to Pecos Hank. Their both top in the field of storm chasers. Yes, Reed gets excited and has come off as over the top but has calmed down a lot in recent years and presents himself as quite professional and well spoken now if you ask me. I'm a big fan of both.
Fan of both. I prefer Pecos Hank for tornado footage and some other lightning/severe storm videos. Reed travels a lot more and covers a larger variety of events.
Watching Reed in 2013 and before, I figured he wouldn't be around still bc he got so close to tornados, and one day would get too close. But I'm very happy he is still here, and I like both of their styles. Plenty of room for both of them. I wish Reed would get his own show again however.
I had an opportunity to do a report on some snowfall this past winter. The only problem was I didn't have a video camera to record myself with, and I might have needed some goggles. 😉
This past October (2018), my family and I went to the beach, and our first day out on the beach happened to be a rainy day. The rain stung quite a bit, but we went out into ocean anyway to ride the waves. Also, it was (presumably) the first time we went out on the beach to find it almost completely deserted. That was really fun. (In addition, if I remember correctly, that particular day was day before what was left of Hurricane Michael blew threw. 😀)
Reed I live in Central Florida & I wanna know if u think there's any chance Dorian might not turn due north?? I survived Charley & this reminds me of that same scenario..
Yeah. I have even wondered how Reed is able to do some of his winter storm reports when there's snow blowing in his face, and he's looking right at the camera with no eye protection on.
Reminds me of some of the classic hurricane reporting back in the 90's from networks like CNN, Fox News and The Weather Channel. All would have one of their main weather reporters standing out in some of the worst of it.
Thanks for reporting the hurricane.it be great if you could do a video on your opinion where this beast is going.i am Florida resident waiting this is definitely a nail biter.
Didn't really understand half of what you said, but given you are wet, people are running away and the microphone is picking up the wind. I'm guessing the hurricane is on its way and it's only going to get worse. Stay safe out there Reed.
Reed Timmer coming in full force and typical “Timmer style” 👍🏻 Told all my Florida fam if they ain’t following you then they better get their life together! 🤣
to respect this storm she is huge, watch for flying coconuts and downed trees, Abaco after 24 hrs of Storm has not many tree's left, stay safe and dry!
We all knew in our human subconscious these days would come eventually. That's why all the disaster movies always did so well. The time is here. The bible predicted these events thousands of years in advance. If you dont believe in Jesus take a chance and ask him to show himself to you.
Thanks again Reed! You're doing a huge service for a lot of people.

Mike Miller I love Pecos Hank so much. Definitely more of an artistic/pure appreciation of nature. Reed is still pretty badass though.
@@DrZiggyzoo1 I agree 100%.
At least Reed won't lose this hat
This is what tornado chasers do for vacation, lol.
Going to make a report in a Hurricane, only one way to do it and that's Mr Reed Timmer style 😎.

Ain’t it tho!! No other way!

Keep it real Reed. No need for any fancy LL Bean rain gear. Stay safe.
2:23 - Did you get splashed in the face by that wave? It's not pleasant getting saltwater in your eyes. (I know that from experience. Ouch.)
what happened to the dominators?
Hi Reed. Nice to see you, but what are you talking about? Audio my friend, audio.
R.i.p to the people who has died in that horrible storm. My thoughts are with u all.
“The sea was angry that day my friends...”
Over the past few days I've seen images like this and planes flying over the hurricane. Has anyone ever been beneath the waves in a hurricane?

Reed is a expert but why would others be out at the beach?
When people are on the beach during what is supposed to be a catastrophic hurricane.. You know the media is lying about the reality of Dorian.
