PC-24 - The Fastest Way to Venice
Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 вер 2024
- The Venice-Lido city airport is located about three kilometres east of the city centre on the Lido di Venezia. The PC-24 landed safely on the grass runway 05/23 of just under 1000 metres. The city centre is just a few minutes from the airport. The PC-24 is the only business jet in the world to be able to fly into such airfields. The combination of high cruising speed and ability to use short strips - and even unpaved runways - delivers a whole new level of mobility and time savings.

I'm not really an expert, but I think that with the Pilatus 12 and this jet the Swiss company builds two almost perfect airplanes which they can be very proud of.
You can’t really go wrong with Swiss engineering
The most amazing aspect in this video is the musical soudtrack : "arrivederci Roma".... for a video recorded in Venice ! .....:-))
Pilatus Aircraft production is just a few kilometres from my home. So I enjoy there test flights every day.
Cool planes, love it.
No doubt that the PC-24 is the most utilitarian and versatile business jet of our time. It's like a supercar with wings and off-road capabilities. What an amazing machine.
From South Africa, with love, immense admiration, and profound respect.
Wow absolutely awesome 👍👏👏👏 I love the PC-24 😍
Absolutely stunning piece of engineering 👍🏽😍
Their decision to design the aircraft with extended width Fowler flaps (#1), powerful turbines and light weight materials are key factors in runway performance.
That was cool! Great landing in a very great location.
What a beautiful video. The music, the scenery, and of course, The Pilatus PC-24 👍
Nettes Video! Netter Flieger, gerade auch auf Gras!
...und als Musik "Arrivederci ROMA..." ;-)
Second landing was the better one
Simply amazing
Incredible !
This is why I love the PC-24
Ok, I have to take the night train to Venice unfortunetly.
Is Pilatus working on an upgrade of this plane in the TOW, to have bettter endurance like the LJ.60 or Phenon 300.
Would have appreciated seeing the take off as well
Fantastic aircraft. Only thing some people don't like is the location of the Lab - required because of the rear cargo door.
Bravo !
Прекрасный самолёт из прекрасной страны!
When can we get a PC24 in MSFS2020
Wie geht das mit dem Bremsen auf Gras?
Very beautiful plane, but wrong music !
The tirle is goodbye Rome not Venice....!
best in class :))))),,, get honeywell to make it so it accepts full flight plan transfers with sids and stars :)
And autoland
@@johnjarvis8185 now that would be sweet :))
Sorry, it's not meant for Trumpers.

I would be' interested also to see the fake off...!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Nice, perfect touch down, but why only one pilot ware a facemask?
better say nothing ...
Because he lacks the ability to think for himself and make his own decisions.
Arrivederci Roma!
If only they could have put the lav in the back where it belongs. Putting it right behind the cockpit takes this otherwise great airplane out of contention for many.
Cargo door precludes putting it in the back
@@davidbsac The cargo door is a great feature for the PC12 but we never had a need for a lav. Being a Pilatus, they will probably sell them as fast as they can build them with a waiting list.
@@alexmoreland7938 A friend owns a CJ1. In 6 years of ownership no one has ever used the lav. But his flights are all less than 2.5 hours long.
@@davidbsac I fly the Phenom 300 and occasionally people use the lav. Our legs approach 4 hours but we always recommend that our passengers use the potty at the FBO before we depart.
D Schwiizerlis in Venedig! 😀 De Song heisst aber "Arrivederci Roma"! 😁
Nice, now please engineer covid away :)
Ditch the masks!!
Pilot mit Windel im Gesicht - tragisch... aber cooles Flugzeug!
nice jet but not worth the money or the 2 year wait, I will go get a Cessna Soverign for the same price better everything and in 4 months.
yeah sure, pays twice as much for 2k km more range, can't land at unpaved and can't hold cargo or other related big stuff.
Cessna Sovereign - old design, smaller fuselage, no flat floor, no cargo door, old avionics, no short runways...
Why do you think your Cessna is basically standing on a lot, aging away, while the Pilatus is sold out for the next two years?
You're only missing the picture of the Cessna Pilot's face, gob-smacked, as he sees the PC-24 effortlessly touch down.
You are right! I'm that Pilot! It was my first cross country SOLO navigation for PPL course.😁
@@diegoguercilena2906 "After the landing WHAT??!"
Bravo!
As a Pilatus PC12 pilot I just can say that I wish one day I will fly a PC24, but...why use a song about Rome??? :) :) :)
I thought the same...Flying to Venice, but you can hear: Arrivederci Roma...
Nice video, beautiful aircraft, but the music?? The song is "Arrivecerci Roma"...really? :) :D
I've noticed too XD
Arrivederci ROMA, way down to VENICE...
The PC24 is the G-Wagon. Remarkable engineering ⚙🔧
okay, you got me. i'll buy one!
Venezie è sempre Venezia❤🇮🇹🌹
"The fastest way to Venice"
Background music: stereotypical accordion-and-mandolin version of "Arrivederci Roma". Bene ma non benissimo.
I was really enjoying the video of the PC-24 and the approach to LIPV right up to 1:40 when a marvelously splendid empennage came into view. My thoughts of various aircraft and other assorted scenery quickly plummeted to a distant second place.
But that's just me...
When your wishes list is to small for this...
Great airplane, I hope I could work on it in the future. Greatings from the Netherlands and from a upcoming aircraft maintenance student
Beautiful Landing :)
Really impressive !!
Lol, that tiny airplane at the end for comparison
Pretty cool.
Eure Armut kotzt mich an.
The Swiss Army knife of aircraft... excellent!
ridiculous music
What an amazing jet!
Bullshit #1: Song is „Arrivederci Roma“ (landing in Venice)!
Bullshit #2: Copilot wears a mask! 🙈
