So we can conclude, stock 944 S2 can keep up with a MUCH LATER 911 Turbo round the Nordshschliffe? And only loses out on the straights or gentle bends where the 911 turbo 400bhp is obviously going to have the advantage due to more raw power.

Well, the 944 isn’t stock. It had wider Cup tyres and modified suspension. But the weight and engine was original spec.
