Thank you so much for this video, I have a project to do, that involves several equilateral triangles, I had a solution and several jigs to build for it as not all of the triangles are the same size. Yours is so simple to make and will deal with all the sizes just by putting in longer screws, or moving up the threaded rail, and making the base board triangular to allow the other two angles to hang over to allow the glue to be wiped off. It is fantastic, you have saved me hours of work. Thank you so much. Kindest Regards Chris (UK)

Thank you I have been trying to make a memorial flag stand for my son Ssgt Robert E Scruggs an Army disabled Iraq war veteran which was buried 60 days ago and relied on the standard 45 and 22.5 angles which drove me nuts many videos show cutting a deep 45 / 22.5 on a table saw which I can't do besides it's unsafe for me. I tried your method and it works I am determined to build it myself using almost hardwood Cypress which stains and finishes really great I was so frustrated thanks again.

Wish I would have looked this up BEFORE I just ruined a few 2x4s trying to manually cut them with a hand saw !
Putting this method to work tomorrow.

Thanks for the video, but what if you want to cut the 60 degree angle along the board thickness? So one can make shelves with the board joined along its width. Cheers and keep up.

What's the purpose of cutting a hole in the top of your mounting board?

Instead of a bracket with bolts, you can use a wedge.
