Scott - I must admit I'll find it problematic to move from P/Shop as I have a large investment in Actions and Scripts which I think it would be pointless to spend the time, even if LR could run them, to duplicate. As I don't use LRs asset management I prefer to use ACR & PS which I find to be closer integrated.
Lightroom Classic (LrC) with the cloud subscription has the updates... that's what I used in the video. If you mean LR6 (the standalone Lr desktop app)... yeah, that hasn't been updated in a while.
@@ScottDavenport Lightroom classic (LRC) is the desktop version through creative cloud. Your options aren't the same as mine. I think you're using the cloud based LR. There's two different ones on Creative Cloud
I'm definitely using LrC (I haven't moved to LR yet). Checked the version via the menus... Lightroom Classic > About Lightroom Classic and I'm running v13.3. If that helps you...
Excellent, an easy to understand presentation. Thank you.
You are welcome!
Great resume of the new features Scott. Succinct and useful as always
Glad you liked it!
Nice explanation. Thanks.
You're welcome!
Tried to remove table and chairs from a scene and it left a weird artifact in its place so not so brilliant .

In your case, certainly, there's no value in moving. Have fun!
Pretty soon we will be able to sit at home at just tell the computer what pics we want! Oh, wait! We can already do that!
Ha!
Do not throw away PS yet. Try removing objects like light switches from a wall. You will get different variations of the light switch.
Dontcha just love when that happens... the AI *really* wants you to have a light switch :)
Doesn't look like it's available for Lightroom classic
