Chutney Roster peanuts 2 tsp, blad it. Now green dhania3 times phudina ginger cumin, ice cubes, black salt , lemon juice , salt, yogert. Can add garlic.

I put methi along with the rice when I soak it. I use only a little green chillies but more ginger. Ginger gives a lovely flavour to idhada. Sometimes in place of ground pepper for garnish I use pickle sambhar masala. I apply the oil on the idhada before cutting it, it's easier.

Pl clean wash daal and rice , then soak . Don't throw the soaked water. Use it to grind.
Using the same water during grinding helps the batter ferment faster
