    Just watched this movie this morning and I know I’ll need to see it again. But really, I could watch Steve McQueen talk about filmmaking all day. There’s so much passion and intensity when he speaks about the craft. Its really beautiful.

      angela evans I think in the film she’s was mourning in the film so was kinda tired and miserable as the character but here in the interview and in more happier films she’s attractive

    I watched this movie yesterday on the big screen, and I LOVED it! The director and the cast produced pure magic and unbelievable humanity in an environment that tries to defines us, women; an environment that's violent to us in many shapes and forms. Ms. Davis's performance is breathtaking.

    Anyone else reckon Violas character should of opened that door her dog was scratching at earlier (I think she knew her husband was alive )

    • @mkhuiogrgingid8021
      @mkhuiogrgingid8021 6 років тому +1

      London Cars and Games she def knew he was alive. That’s why she ran away. I think she was just scared, and did not want to accept that he was alive

      London Cars and Games She saw his silver flask first. So she knew!

    • @mkhuiogrgingid8021

      flo A she saw the flask, and when the dog smelled his jacket he went crazy. Naturally he would attack the door if he smelled him

    • @conniehollins3185
      @conniehollins3185 6 років тому

      @flo A A dog knows it's owner's scent. Olivia could smell him all through the house. His whiskey flask was on the table. Viola's character also realized that he was living there with the widow that wanted no parts of the caper. Also realizing that was his baby. So she just ran out. Lol

    Is the route from the campaign event to the HQ real? (I think some environments in this film must been faked due to "impossible" camera moves, like Marcus in the car). I recently found out that Massive Attack's "Unfinished Sympathy" video can be recreated in Google Street View and it would be interesting to recreate this journey too!

    Totally irrelevant and trollish, but I hate every single pair of glasses I've ever seen McQueen wear. They're just dreadful... all of them.

    Elizabeth Debicki is 6'3", but weighs about 147 pounds (if I had to guess).

    Viola may not be attractive in the conventional sense, but she doesn't seem to age. And now that she's over 50, it's all working to her advantage.

    Cynthia is labeled because she... is tattooed ? Well, no shit ? What's unfair is when people get labeled because of the color of their skin or something else they're born with. But your lifestyle, you own it. I hope this movie isn't too political.

    • @amazing_bastard
      @amazing_bastard 6 років тому

      labelling is when you limit your idea about someone's personality to just one of their traits. the point is, a person is so much more than their skin colour or tattoos. if you adapt a lifestyle you do not reduce your personality to it, but rather broaden it, add smth to it. and it's dumb when people think because you're a tattooed biker, you can't be anything else. nothing political about it.

      she's just talking about her experience. it's the truth of her life. no one cares if that hurts your feelings.
