I'm 100% sure that they coded Helaena as neurodivergent in a way where she's disengaged from what's happening, specifically so they could avoid engaging with the question of her complicity despite adhering to the role of a "good" passive woman, and the unfairness of how her perceived innocence comes from how she conforms to her gender role compared to Rhaenyra. And I honestly find that decision lazy, cowardly, sexist, and ableist.

I really like Aegon's character in this season. He is definetly the highlight of the first 4 episodes!! Also Aegon's actor Tom Glynn Carney said that in that scene with Helaena, they understood eachother's pain but didn't know how to express it.
