I knew Paul from Ruckholt Manor school and Tom Hood school back in the 60s and early 70s. And I heard him sing with Iron Maiden in the Cart and Horses Stratford. I think the pub now has closed down😖 But Paul was a great lad😁👌. He also serviced my motorbike a couple of times too. I liked him a lot. And Steve ( Loopy) Newhouse was a lovely guy too. Hard to believe we are now old guy's in our 60s😖😉

Great interview. Too bad there are no recordings of Iron Maiden with Paul Mario Day. He is a great singer.

I find it a bit sad that Steve ignores the first 5 years of Maiden's history, nor gives Paul Day, Dennis Wilcock or any of the others any song writing credit.
