I watched these guys play on fargate just as lockdown were lifting and they played wait in vain i were blown away by there energy i welled up fantastic vibe they give off
Ive heard many songs by you Ryan but not like you’ve sang Redemption. My all time fave Bob Nesta song. Also seen you play guitar but not like that to this song. Absolutely beautiful. Manchista massive xx luv Ruff trade I do ❤️💛💚
This kind of thing of thing should be a criminal offence! Seems I'm the only in the comments that sees this as a mockery and offensive. Love the music by all means but Jafakeun needs to do one!!
@@therealnorthmediavlogs6428 Firstly at no point did I mention Colour. Secondly Jamaica isn't a Culture it's a Country. Personally I don't think that "mocking" a Jamaican accent is paramount to respecting a Culture and exactly the opposite. Is the singer Jamaican? I'm perfectly aware that there are many different races of Jamaicans but this guy isn't clearly. The accent is ridiculous and completely unnecessary, in my opinion. I'm not saying don't love and respect the music and Culture but you don't do that with a ridiculous mockery of the accent. As I said in my original comment "Leave out the Jafakeun accent!" Simples!! To me this is offensive and he might as well go all out with Black Face and fake dreads! Kmt!!
@@therealnorthmediavlogs6428 you clearly don't understand my point. I have absolutely no doubt that he will go far, as misappropriation of Jamaican Culture is big business,Turtle Bay, McDonald's Jerk Burgers, etc, being good examples. This doesn't however change my point that this is a mockery and offensive to me personally. Unfortunately most people aren't able to look deeper into things. Many stars have made it massive by doing culturally inappropriate impersonations of people outside of their own cultures again it doesn't make it right. I'm assuming by your response that he is not Jamaican and apart from clearly loving the music the accent is not needed. For clarification I feel the same about any artist who performs in an accent that isn't their own to make it forward. Please stop the offence mockery of the Jamaican accent "Ye git me Breadbin!"

Remember Jamaica is a culture not a colour brother and Jamaican people welcome all people in their way of life
