Thanks .Awesoome.👍💯
Wow. ..Thanks...
Is this better then Wurkkos TS22?
EA04 ISSUE! I just took delivery of this and was trying it out with little success. Lots of flickering and then just switching off. I though my battery was a problem so tried a few different batteries with the same result & so thought ok, this is a dud but then I noticed the rear cap connection seemed to make intermittent contact and then I realised that the anodising was actually partly covering the end of battery tube where it makes contact with the tail cap. So got my DIY sponge fine sanding block and give it a few rubs and hey presto, issue totally solved but it got me wondering it this could also be affecting the lower outputs that people are seeing. I have a 30amp sustained (60amp pulse) 26650 on order but with my basic 18650 (that I got out of a diffuser and probably 6 amp?), it looks like I'm getting around 4000 lumens so hoping this will increase a lot with the bigger battery. It's not getting very hot with the 18650 on turbo so maybe that might be a safer way to lend it out or gift. I think people looking for high outputs should check the anodising at the rear end of the battery tube. WOW just tried it with only a 10amp Sofirn 26650 and I reckon it jumped up to about 8000 lumens and started getting very hot very quickly but wow that is bright, way brighter than my IF25A that I was comparing it to. With this 30amp Eizfan battery I'm awaiting it's going to be crazy. It's good though that this 18650 doesn't get hot at all and is still nicely bright, similar to the If25A on Turbo.
Have you had a chance to test the lumen output with the 26350?
Is there a lockout? Or do you have to unscrew the tail cap? Thanks for a great video
Tail cap only, I mostly do it that way.
Love your channel so many much. Any time I want some information about any flashlights advertising on the current market, I copy the product name and paste on UA-cam hoping you got the video about it haha. Love Love Love !!!
Edit: AND also love your FPV angle with simulating dangerous scenario, especially watch on big screen with 4K.
4K HDR screen?
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV yeah. humor and informative for flashlight community .
Could you measure the circumference of the light where you hold it? i need it so I can buy a bike holder...
Says 34mm in manual
Amazing, thanks for the review and coupon, I just bought one.
What battery do I need to purchase to get the best lumen output? I am based in the UK. Thanks
Look for Samsung 30T on the fogstar website. They are only 3000mAh, though.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV Thanks and is there any option that provides high output and long run times?
@Az__ There's 40T 4000mAh and Molicel P21A 4200mAh. There's a few other options, but hard to get in the UK.
that samsung 40t battery from where can be buyed? i am on Ali bu tis not there
I get mine from Fogstar or ecolux, uk based
👍😄 very nice 🔦
Please friend, can you tell me if there is a way to configure this EA 04 in step mode in addition to ramp mode?
I don't think there's any configuration options
Hi
What battery size is for the mini version and Which battery brand would you recommend for the best results?
Thanks for the video and I liked the way you putted a diet coke for the mini version ;)
26350, Vapcell A20 seems the most decent option that's readily available, in the UK at least.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV thanks
@@SupermixRR26350 and yes… Vapcell A20 2000mAh. Max continous discharge:10A
I tested that 26350 with flashlight. It would not put out much lumen, however the size is quite compact. As FLASHAHOLIC stated: Use long body with 21700 40T to get the most lumen of out this flashlight.
If you still wanting short body. Keep the battery inside and charge it via built in usb-c port, because you may or might damage the rear thread from screw/unscrew the back lid.
26350 Vapcell A20 runtime from high mode (not turbo) until completed turn off is about 1hour 13 minutes. The brightness will not ramp down to Low mode, it just turned off from High mode due to insufficient energy supplied.
I will test runtime with 21700 and update result later.
I hope FLASHAHOLIC will do runtime in his next videos. However, I still felt that is too much “work” for him to make a video since he did really in depth review.
@@traiii thanks for the detailed explanation, and yes I really find it the mini version more manageable and handy. Curious to know the difference in lumens and and runtime between both batteries sizes..
@@SupermixRR Runtime and lumen output depend on many factors and battery quality. 21700 40T brand new or used? Correct advertised mAh, less or more mAh? How much Internal Resistance of the battery? Max continous discharge?
With battery, I tend to charge it with low Ah/hour. Usually 500mAh/hour, so if Vapcell 2000mAh will take 4 hours to fully charged. You may want to know why don’t i do Quick Charging, faster and save more time? It is because Fast Charging will damage battery life. Took 4 hours charged to use for 1 hour may not worthed, but I only did with rare battery. 26350 is not mass produce or easy to find on market. With 26650 and 21700 are really easy to find, so I can do Fast Charging despite the fact that it will shorten battery life. I will just buy another new battery.
I assumed that Vapcell 2000mAh put out less lumen for runtime of 1 hour more. 21700 with double mAh put out more lumen but because put out more will consume more energy, so runtime will likely be the same, still 1 hour more but with more lumen more brightness.
Fast Chargin is 2000mAh/hour, if you really want quick and go, 1 hour charged for 1 hour use on Vapcell 26350, and 2 hours charged for 1 hour use on 21700 40T. If you want longer runtime, buy more batteries, still 2 hours charge but you will have 4 fully charged batteries ( 4 slots battery charger). Just be careful when changing battery. Push back lid toward the body tube while UNSCREW back lid because this flashlight’s back lid has very strong metal spring. If you unscrew without pushing in, the friction will worn thread down over time.
People buying this flashlight because of its lumen output and its size. If you choose to use mini version, then you have cheaper flashlight with similar lumen output to mini version.
Flashlight meant to use in “flash” time. If you want long runtime, you better get a lantern.
is this stuck on smooth ramping or can it be adjusted to stepped mode?
Just smooth ramping
Whats the diffrence between this Flashlight and the Astrolux EA01S?
LED's and UI mainly
Just purchased, does it have a lock out mode ?
Just mechanical I believe
Hi very nice video , i got a question.
Which battery do you suggest for the best performance and higher lumens Samsung 30T or 40T
I don't care so much about the battery's mah , I can get two of them in exchange a brighter result.
Thank you!
30T or Lishen 3000mAh beat 40T for output
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV so u saiyng that 30T is more powerfull than 40T .
can u give me and a recomentation on 21700 cell but for longer duration ,
maybe i can buy 1 battery from each category . one for duration and one for power
@@Aggelosarb 30T for power. 40T for a mix of power runtime. 4200mAh Molicel P42A or rven something like 5000mAh Samsung 50E/50S for runtime.
Nice video bos..
boss..Is there much difference between ea01s and this ea04..? can you suggest which one is ok between these two and what battery spec can i use for good high max lumen..thanks boss..😘🥰
Both very similar performers. EA01S has the better UI. I'd use Samsung 40T in these lights. Or Molicel P42A for extra runtime.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV Thanks sir..😘🥰🥰👍👍
Mateminco LT40.
Hello dear "Flashaholic".
I can’t find enough information about this LED,
i mean hp50.
How does it differ from xhp-50? Is it better or worse?
And what will be the runtime of this flashlight with a good 21700 or 26650 battery?
HP50 is worse. I don't test runtimes. They vary on battery used and ambient temps.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV Well that just killed my order plus it's probably to floody for me but I almost went for it. Ok Edited & for £32 I just now went for it in green. I have a spare 18650 just to have it as a novelty light unless it convinces me to use it more. 1st Astrolux yeahhhhh. I am a cheapskate! Was wondering if this HP50 is the same one that's in the Acebeam Pokelit Grey 1000 lumen version and that is pretty good though not in CRI.
first, i this this is ea01s, but this a new type flashlight from aatrolux.
Similar but different LEDs and UI.
yeah, using "HP50" for half price 😂. and under $40 for 10K++ lumens. worth it.
thx for review, so i bought it 😂

I think a turbo that starts stepping down immediately is pretty much pointless, anyone agree?
Pretty much the norm now, it's to prevent the sudden output drops
Baterai apa yang cocok untuk senter ini pak?

@@Qirthoosun paling besar dan pas y 26650. Kalo 21700 diameternya masih perlu ganjal.
What lumens will you get if Molicel P45B was installed?
I don't have that cell yet but sometimes the lower amp battery on lights like this are kicking out more lumens after 30 secs as they don't give you that same heat from the brighter start up.
Based on the reviews of this cell in budgetlightforums, Molicel P45B runs much cooler than Samsung 50S.
@@JB-hj5tp Warmer cells tend to output more amps!
Re post ?
Had a power surge during first upload and it prevented the HDR metadata from being applied somehow.
@FLASHAHOLIC_TV AH I think I understand anyway ordered one online Monday, unusually they wanted shipping, used your code that cancelled out the shipping and other minor add ons Ta 😇
Could u please try this out with a molicel p45b
Do it yourself and report back to us.
I@@CarlOblander i tried it with molicel p45b and i measured almost 11 000 lumen, and with 40t i measured 9100lumen
@viktorpersson17 , thank you! I just ordered several of them after reading your testing. That's quite a different. In any case!
@@CarlOblander its just crazy
@@viktorpersson17 I like the EA04 and have tried several different batteries, though I will give your choice a serious look for a while :)
But why do you have to lie though? How much money did they give you to make this video?
There is no way in hell this flashlight got 12600 lumens!
My dad just bought one of these and my Olight seeker 2 pro with 3200 lumens is way brighter than this one.
If you’re not lying about the lumens then you better buy a new flashbox cause that thing is completely broken since it shows you like 4 times higher light output than the flashlight actually has.
Your dad's battery must be iffy! Or he's not double tapping for turbo.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV are you being serious right now?
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV i would love to come to your house and try out your flashlight. i would also like to bring it to an actual laboratory to see how bright it really is.
i can bet you 1 billion dollars that it doesn’t have close to 12600 lumens.
@sebbekartellen6493 I think your dad's might be defective, no way should the Olight be brighter, no way on Earth.
