the issue is we would expect an horror game so it wouldnt be as scary, I prefer spooky moments like this, mainly when they lead to something interesting, its usually not mistery for mistery in pokemon, there is actually a small story or explanation behind each scary moment...
The best is when they lead to the capture of a rare pokemon, but it isn't as scary then, the school girl thing is cool for example because you can your own theories about it
I remember playing Platinum again a year ago. Despite being 18 then, me and my brother let out a funny sound when we saw that old man glide across the kitchen. We had been searching for him since we saw him back when we were 10, so our reactions were ridiculous.
"Oh! It's him! IT'S HIIIIM!"

Ghost type Pokemon I feel like are different that actual ghosts, considering they are animals that could be cought in the wild. Many of them just have ghostly qualities. But Gengar, spiritomb and trevenants pre evolution are all humans so that confuses me.

Scary as the Giratina jumpscare seems to people (I personally am not bothered by it. Giratina rearing back like that gave me time to prepare for it), the moments before it I find interesting.
Giratina only starts to rear back when Cyrus mentions he has the power of Dialga and Palkia. Almost like Giratina is warning Cyrus to leave the other two alone, or else.

giratina redeems itself by saving these two and bringing cyrus to the distortion world, but probably does care for them, as they did create the universe with arceus.
Dialga created Time, Palkia created Space, and Giratina created Duality.
Duality is just as important as Time or Space for sustaining Existence.
It's sad how no one appreciates Giratina's importance, lmao.

There's one in sword in shield kinda. A little girl gives you a love letter asking you to give it to a boy in another town. When you find him he tells you she was his childhood friend who got sick and died. Meaning, the girl you talked to was a ghost :')
Also since the boy turns out to be an old man since he has aged and one of his children talks to ghosts

Honestly, the two Sun and Moon locations you showed aren't nearly as scary as the Ultra Ruins from USUM. If you realize just where you are, the place goes from weird and unsettling to downright disturbing. It appears to be an alternate version of Hau'Oli city in which the Alola Region underwent some kind of apocalypse, likely related to the Power Plant as seen in posters. There are only a few remaining people, all of which must wear hazmat suits to survive, which seems to imply that in this alternate world, the Power Plant was actually nuclear rather than geothermal, and had a meltdown. This resulted in either the appearance of Guzzlord from another world, or they appeared as a form of mutation to some type of Pokémon due to nuclear radiation. Whatever the case, all that's left is a handful of Guzzlord surviving off of whatever remains of civilization, some surviving humans, possibly a few other species of Pokémon, and a world that seems to be in darkness from nuclear winter. At least, that's how I interpret all of the clues.
He also didn't put the whole Lusamine-Nihilego scene, which I feel would have been a good candidate for this video.
My friend told me about this because I wasn’t apart of the game but she also told me there was this man she thinks is maybe the last guy in the city wearing a guzzlord costume and saying that he his always there for the guzzlord while others escaped from the city I thought that was pretty nice but he will have a chance to get eaten

The old chateau really scared me as a kid back then, especially when played at night. I didn’t even know that rotom exists in the tv! And the purple painting on the wall was also creepy af as it always follow where you’re going. Gengar exists in the said room if you owned fire red/leaf green and migrated pokémon from there.
And the disappearing girl from B2W2 was really really sad. She must’ve fallen in the bridge while looking for cresselia or something because she wanted to return the lunar wing back.
Also, i didn’t know that there’s a creepy side quest in sun and moon. Maybe i should check it out.
The one from Sun/Moon is not a sidequest, it's part of the main story (one of the island trials), although in the Ultra versions there is a postgame event in there where Accerola makes you repeat the ghost trial again, and when you clear it again you discover that the Accerola that asked this was an illusion
The girl didn't fall from the bridge, it was killed by Darkrai, pulled in it's world through nightmares, only Cresselia can make Darkrai go away, that's why she needed to wait for Cresselia, but it was too late for the girl.
carlos mendoza Oh I don’t remember this girl being a main quest, but USUM has the illusion Acerola during the trial. You make your way to the back of the store, and see her not facing you. She starts telling you to leave, and if you protest, she starts screaming at you to get out. Then you can fire up the Poké Finder and see that she’s an illusion

I remember the girl disappearing on the bridge in White. Freaked me out as a kid but I wanted to figure out what happened. I never played Black or White 2 but my brother did but he didn't tell me what the girl said. By then, we had forgotten about her being on the bridge. Watching this gave me the answers that I was searching for all those years ago.
Yeah it happened to me too! I played White when I was 10 and the girl was so creepy and mysterios, I wanted to know what happened to her. With 12 I played White 2 and when I was in the house and she talked about Abra... it was a shock kinda

Okay so like I just realized this,
at 11:50 you see the pictures of the girl and her Pikachus on the wall. Here's my theory:
..A Girl had two Pikachus, one that was actually Mimikyu the whole time and one that was Pikachu. One day the regular Pikachu died, so the girl and Mimikyu had to bury it. However, soon after the girl also died, leaving the Mimikyu all alone. I'm going to guess that the megamart the trial takes place in was special to the Mimikyu somehow, and that the reason it was destroyed was because the death of the Girl angered the guardian pokemon (Tapu Bulu). So now the Mimikyu haunts the place, and doesn't want anyone to come near it. It took the form of Acerola to try and get you to leave.

When I was exploring the strange house I had a heart attack when the girl appeared out of no where. But when I started putting all the pieces of the story together I felt really sad for the poor girl and her family.
Giratina’s entry is perhaps one of the most if not THE MOST amazing Legendary cutscene entry ever. I just loved the scene where Giratina first appeared! And the movie starring Giratina is my all time favorite!!

On a serious note, if you’re seriously trying to look for the story line, the little girl is on the right part of Hammerlocke City (if I remember correctly, cuz I don’t have a switch with me at the moment), the upper floor, towards the far right end where there are one or two big white building. You’ll talk to her and she’ll ask you to deliver a letter. Then you’ll find out the story by yourself :) no spoilers.

Oh jeez, I remember my younger self always got especially spooked by these segments. Actually, they still scare me a lot, mostly due to how out-of-place they seem in the series. I mean that in a good way, of course.
I vividly remember when I was around seven, and I'm not kidding, I spent a solid twenty minutes searching N's room because I thought I'd found some big, spooky secret in the game that might disappear as soon as I left the room. Then I got too terrified to stay in there any longer because of the hecking music of all things.
I just adore these slightly darker moments in Pokémon games. After all, they just prove how unpredictable and even unsettling they can be when they want to be.
Thought I was the only one. I mean I'm 18 and some of these moments still make me feel uneasy but that's a good thing. Just a little disturbing, especially the ghost girl segments.

I really can't take the lumiose city girl seriously though. Floating with 1 foot forward looks awfully lousy for a ghost. I would've felt more disturbed if they made her float on a t-pose.

Also couldn't they have picked any other place than Lumiose city? It's literally based on the city of light itself. You're in a fancy office building and help is not even far away or something. People are nearby. Festivities and busy streets are just below you. it's just not a scary setting. Imagine finding her in the route to Laverre city or in the lost hotel that would've been way better.
@@sheepisfortheweak6164 I think that’s kind of the point though. Having it happen somewhere that you wouldn’t expect a scare. Could’ve been placed better though, like in Lumiose Badlands where it’s pretty empty and the NPCs are spaced out or somewhere similar.

IMO the ghost girl at 0:22 was the freakiest by far, I remember scouring the game for her after seeing her and NEVER finding her at all, was so freaked, Aparantly there is absolutely no data on her, and the producer acted shocked when hearing of her (might have been a ploy, tbh probably was)
Fun fact ! She can be seen in ORAS in that one cemetery in the middle of the sea.
She is on the left side on the first floor and says the same thing : 'No, you're not the one...'
