Why I replaced my Ducati Panigale V4 Mirrors with Bar End Mirrors

- In this video I tell you why I have replaced the standard mirrors on my Ducati V4 with bar end mirrors that look like a motogp brake lever protector. The standard Ducati Panigale V4 mirrors have broken on my Panigale twice and so I decided to try bar end mirrors instead along with Lightech's mirror blanking plates for the Panigale V4.

Nice video mate. Just one thing. It looks like the mirrors are facing the wrong direction (in terms of the the thicker side being on the inside instead of the outside). Do they swivel all the way round?

Cool mirrors and exactly the same issue at my end. Thanks for the video. Question: Do the back indicators work as usual if you just unplug the front indicators or do I need to consider anything else?
Do you just leave the clips for the indicators unplugged or does this kit have something you can use to plug that wiring from the indicator on the mirrors?
Could you please tell me what brand of the mirrors you are showing at the beginning when you talked about mirrors worth 400 pounds ? ( they are black look like black Rizoma but its not .. trying figure out what is it ??? ) Please let me know . Thanks

I tried several different bar end mirrors on my V4 and I get best results on visible and durable is Rizoma Spy - R 80 .

If only Rizoma weren't so obscenely expensive. Hands down best quality though.
Was there any impact to using the clutch or front brake with these mirrors installed? Did they get in the way? Also, was there any vibration due to removing the Ducati factory weighted bar ends?
D Clea thanks for watching. I tested this with gloves on and had to make a small adjustment to make sure it cleared the mirror but now it’s perfectly fine. Oh an no vibration beyond the normal.

With the mirrors u added do they vibrate at all or hinder me from clearly seeing the difference between a cop and a civilian car coming up on my rear
Or do i need to pay the extra money for the crg mirrors

How are the vibrations, visibility,
Do the mirrors "un-adjust" by wind pressure at high speeds? The original mirrors have the glass surface inside so no problem. Bit I'm curious about the bar end style as the glass is directly exposed to wind....
Hey CT so far I've not managed many miles - let alone at any great speed. However I will say that the mirrors are set quite well and stiff to move so i'm optimistic that they'll be ok!
What do you use now for the front indicators...? Since they have been removed ?

The glass moved in the plastic but they dont fold
Soooooo, how do the mirrors perform?
They’re ok for visibility but take a while to position correctly. Initially they were too close to my hand and I kept moving them accidentally. They’re not as good as traditional mirrors but a good substitute for continuously breaking the standard ones

The new saying goes, there are only 2 types of Penigale V-4 owners, those that break there mirrors, and those that are going to break there mirrors. 😳😂
bar end mirrors dont work when lane filtering.
mine broken today when the Ducati dealer delivered the bike to my home.
What about indicator?
Atakan as I mention in the video you can buy blanks with indicators in but I decided not to have them because they don’t look as good.

Same thing happened to me . I literally brushed up against with my body rather lightly and it just snapped ! Such garbage !
For such an expensive bike it’s a joke. Ducati aren’t bothered though 🙁
Lets Review It you would think they would want to make some updates under warranty
